The BEST ever! I have traveled frequently and for many many years. My stay at the Nira Caledonia has been my best experience yet The many staff people helping to make our stay comfortable and luxurious were warm, kind and efficient The room we had was a junior suite at 10 Gloucester. It was generously spacious with many many bureaus and cabinets to store our clothes and toiletries, three floor to ceiling windows adorned the room along with a very comfortable couch as well as the amenities of TV and refrigerator, delicious tea, and a lovely assortment of coffees and cookies The townhouse grands were on the second floor and as seniors we decided to upgrade to a one floor up junior suite We are returning here again in a few days because honestly between the lovely quiet neighborhood, the attentive staff and the comfortable beds and pillows, there would be no place better place to be

Boutique hotel about 25-30 min walk from main attractions such as royal mile, Edinburgh castle etc. Quiet, safe neighborhood. We had family room with double bed and pull out sofa. The mattresses were uncomfortable and should be replaced. There was a giant jacuzzi tub which was nice after a long day of travel and sight seeing but I would have preferred to skip the jacuzzi tub and just have a larger bathroom/shower. The breakfast was OK. Overall, it was fine. Staff were friendly. I think a bit overpriced.

Very nice property. Be advised there is no elevator and our room was on the top floor which was 65 winding stairs some very narrow to bring our bags up and down. They did serve a very good breakfast which was included. Also be advised that there is no air conditioner and we were on the 5th floor with just a fan.

Great spot a little out of the main area but lovely nonetheless! We were on the top floor so be aware without a lift it is quite the effort to get luggage up the stairs. Breakfast was lovely and all the staff were friendly

This hotel was AMAZING. From the beautifully decorated rooms to the amazing meals, this hotel cannot be beat. The people that worked there were charming, friendly and made us feel at home from the moment we checked in. There are no words to describe how amazing the food was, whether it was breakfast, shared plates, or an elegantly prepared dinner the food was so delicious. On a scale of 1 to 10 the Nira Caledonia gets a 100 !!
