We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights toward the end of our trip to Scotland. The hotel is housed in an older building, but the bathrooms have been nicely updated. Overall, we found our room comfortable, although with the colder weather, it was somewhat difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature. One important consideration is that the hotel does not have an elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs, depending on your room's location. I also had breakfast at the hotel's restaurant on one occasion, and unfortunately, the experience was rather disappointing. The service was not particularly friendly or attentive, and I had to ask for coffee several times. The breakfast itself was average at best. On a more positive note, the hotel staff were polite and courteous throughout our stay. One big advantage of this hotel, particularly for those travelling by car, is the availability of complimentary parking, which is convenient.

Super cute hotel. Comfortable beds. It was very hot during our stay and there is no a/c (common for Scotland). The hotel supplied us with two fans which was absolutely necessary yet our room remained hot. Not really the hotel’s fault. Parking was free yet the spots were tight! Nice to be outside city center away from all the hustle’n’bustle yet still with fairly easy access.

Everything was great about the hotel - location, the look and feel, was comfortable, reasonably priced and lived you could get hassle free late checkout at an honest price. However, two things really aggravated me. 1. The gentleman that checked me in was silently rude and unfriendly, I had just come of a long flight and train ride to him making me feel like I have inconvenienced me. Secondly, I was in a building that was 2 houses away being a solo female there was no guidance to help usher me there or even help with my bags noting the driveway to my residence was all gravel. I would stay there again though. Loved it.

Hotel was right outside Murrayfield stadium. Was easy to find and had car parking, room was large and comfortable. Big bathroom, nice shower. Staff helpful, fitted us in for dinner even though we made a last minute booking. Nice breakfast cooked to order. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

the hotel was very clean .stayed in a beautiful room soo much character old world charm .the staff was amazing front desk staff helped with everything we had a later flight leaving soo they where able to keep our bags for the day which was super helpful very impressed would stay and come back for sure. Need some air conditioning though its getting to hot there not to have any but we survived.

Our room was nicely decorated and we loved the big window that looked out on the trees. The staff was always responsive and helpful, especially helping us get suitcases upstairs. Having a wonderful restaurant downstairs was a real plus after a long day of sightseeing. We would definitely stay here again.
