This was a perfect family apartment! The location could not have been better, literally steps from the Royal Mile and Waverley Station. A great location in the old part of Edinburgh. Clean and tidy, with plenty of space. The host was very helpful, and check-in was easy. We only had two nights, but it would be the perfect location for a week-long stay. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need. Highly recommend.

Great location and very spacious. Close to station for those arriving by train. Very useful having a washing machine during our stay. Only small area for improvement would be the heating in the bedroom as the radiators never really warmed up so maybe in the colder months would be an issue. We enjoyed our stay at Linton Collections. The apartments are clean, spacious and they have a lot to offer for the price. The location is great and walking distance to all the shops and cafes, to both Holyroodhouse Palace and Edinburgh Palace. The lift was unserviceable from day 2 of our stay until the end. We requested the host for partial refund for the inconvenience, however they did not offer any refund.

Loved staying here so much we stayed an extra night! As mentioned the spiral staircase is very narrow, but if you don't have large suitcases it's worth it for the view.
