We could not have asked for a better stay at the Lauderville Guest House. The property was pristine but has a homey feeling. Breakfast was impeccable. Simon and his family are truly amazing.

Very clean and comfortable guesthouse with a warm, family-run atmosphere. Breakfast was tasty, and Simon, the host, was super friendly and helpful. It’s located just outside the city center, but only an 8-minute bus ride away — quiet and convenient. Highly recommended!

We spent a couple of nights at lauderville guest house. Simon was very attentive making sure we had everything we needed. Room was clean and comfortable. There were nice options offered for breakfast. Parking was available. Property is close to bus stops to get to Edinburgh city center. There are good restaurants near by as well.

Symon was an exceptional host, the breakfast each morning was fantastic it really set us up for the day. It was easy to get a bus into the center. If you want to walk it that is also doable takes about 30mins. Fabulous spot to go up to the Pub and have a nice meal. Location is perfect. The room and bed comfortable. Thsnks Symon for the great stay. It does have steps up to the room but not a problem for us.

Great Location

A great location. Bus access to down town is one block over. In a very nice neighborhood. The host was so helpful with suggestions/recommendations. Great eating places/pubs within a quick walk. Room/bathroom was spotless. Rooms are very quiet. Breakfast is amazing with excellent choices and cooked to order. Parking easily available on side street next to property.

Lovely guest home

We loved our stay!! The guest house is so charming and our room was beautiful. Bed was very comfortable and the room immaculately clean. Breakfast was delicious and we appreciated the cold water and snacks available outside of breakfast time. The guest house is in quick walking distance to the bus stops and Simon was very helpful with recommendations and helping us figure out how to navigate the town. My favorite part was the lovely garden in the back. I spend an wonderful few hours reading in the relaxing garden. Highly recommend this lovely guest house. Can’t wait to return some day!

One of the best bed and breakfasts I’ve ever stayed at. Rooms are super cute and clean and the area is convenient but still quiet, and safe. Simon and his team are also incredible and the breakfast is so good!! I can’t get enough of this place and would definitely come back.
