We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Indigo in Edinburgh. It is in a quiet and nice area and very central. It was great that we could store our bags before check in and after check out so we could explore without them. We felt very welcome and our room was lovely. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location in Edinburgh centre. Staff were super nice and helpful. Building a bit quirky with cool decor and lots of twisty corridors. We liked breakfast - not the most extensive continental but what there was was excellent plus we had booked breakfast in advance so got eggs Benedict anyway (with eggs poached perfectly). Only mark off is for the room - very cute but very small so it was difficult to navigate around the bed and the TV at the end of the bed acted like a room partitian. But you will have had worse bigger rooms in city centre hotels. Bed was comfy and the bathroom was done up nice so it was still a good experience.

The stay was great, the staff fantastic, especially the lady on reception. The room was great however it lacks cleanliness in some areas, eg: the extractor fan in the shower was clogged with dust .The headboard on the bed was very dusty too as were the pictures, minor issues that can be easily rectified. Myself and my husband would definately stay again and will be recommending to others 🙂

The hotel is about a 10 minute steady walk to The Royal Mile and the Old town but we preferred to be a little bit out of the way. The reception staff were super friendly and greeted us warmly after a long journey. They even upgraded our room free of charge which was really lovely of them. The room was spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were really comfortable and the breakfast each morning was incredible. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to others.

Location is great, just behind the St James shopping centre and a stones throw away from Calton Hill and also the old town (10 mins walk). The room was nice and spacious. Breakfast was good with a selection of hot food to order and a continental buffet. I would stay again.
