From the moment we entered this hotel, we were greeted by very kind, caring staff. They were very helpful with questions, directions etc. We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights. It was great to have breakfast included with our booking. Good variety of breakfast foods and nice areas to enjoy breakfast. Hotel is excellent location to walk to many sites. We are in our seventies and could walk easily to Holyrood Palace and Edinburgh Castle. Calton hill is right next door too. When we were there the city tram was down due to a fire along the line- had it been in service it would have stopped right in front of this hotel making a super easy commute from the airport. Our room was always clean and ample to our needs. It was very quiet at night too- great for sleeping. We would easily recommend this hotel to those wanting a central location in Edinburgh.

Central location within walking distance to touristic spots yet no outside noise, we had undisturbed sleep. Good amenities, clean and comfortable. We were able to check in early and the express checkout is handy when rushing back to the airport. Breakfast was busy but we were able to find tables for our large group. Wide choice of food from continental to savoury and the option to pack food to go (paper bags and wooden cutlery provided)

Location is great. The tram from the airport stops right in front of the hotel (Picard Place station). It can't get more convenient than that - you just cross the street. There are lots of places to eat and you can walk easily to the old town attractions. The rooms were tight (with the sofa sleeper extended) , felt outdated and damp from the humidity in the air. Staff was nice and the included breakfast was good.

The free bfast, coffee, tea and onsite bar are excellent amenities. The rooms are comfortable, quiet and well designed and especially enjoyed that you can open the window for some fresh air or use the individually controlled thermostat. Although I wish they had hand cream and a guest use microwave onsite somewhere (maybe near the bar).
