The check-in was seamless. Room was very spacious; and beds extremely comfortable. The only downside is the bathroom that was not heated and very cold in September; there was draught coming through the window. The shower fixture was broken too. But overall it was good, it is conveniently centrally located close to the main stations for access to trains and airports

Positives: very spacious, kitchenette that had all the basic essentials convenient to transit, restaurants, very walkable, quiet, fan provided. Cons: bed linens, although laundered were stained. The pillows were stained and appeared to not have been laundered. The shower was extremely small!!! Outlets were in very inconvenient places, under a table, behind a sofa, no lift.

Great kitchen in the apartment. Liked the location. Walkable to great local pub and conveniences. Lifts would be helpful. Flat was warm. Beds comfy. Just need to make it clear that there is no baggage hold at the property or reception.

We enjoyed the period architecture with modern furnishings. It doesn't have a lift, which was a problem with bulky luggage. The hotel is positioned well, with a short walk into the new town, or accessing more of Scotland by rail/road. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, but not very spacious for two hungry people. Overall, it suits well for short stays more than long holidays.

This was a lovely place. The photos of the junior suite made it look bigger than it actually was, but it was a comfy bed, tall ceiling, a nice drying rack to hang wet clothes, a beautiful building with an amazing view of a gorgeous garden, a great hairdryer and fan in the room, a cute little kitchen, and a very convenient location for getting to downtown. The staff (located at a building a few blocks away) were kind enough to keep an eye on our belongings while we adventured.

It was a beautiful room, great location for the price, but one night, we saw a mouse run into our room. It ran underneath our door from the foyer and then under the bed couch.

I do not reccomend staying at this property. It is a rip off and not kept up.There are mostly cons and a few pros to staying here. Cons: * When we checked in we were given a room that already had someone staying there. We know because we were given the code to their room and saw all their belongings in the room. (So the security was not great.) We called the after hours number and were given a smaller, cheaper room. * The water did not always work. Sometimes we would turn on the faucets and nothing came out. Sometimes a trickle would come out. Other times it was okay. * The shower head was broken. It was suppose to be adjustable and go up and down, but the slide attachment was broken, so you got sprayed by water at mid body. * There are many stains on the carpets, cracks on the walls, and scuff marks. * There wasn't a safe in the room. * Various stuff was being stored in the entry way and halls. * The cost per night is ridiculously expensive. * There is no receptionist at this building. You have to go around the corner to get someone to help you. * The black out curtains don't cover the wondows fully, so light leeks in when you sleep. * It was a huge hassel to get them to refund the difference in money from the two rooms, and it will take a month for my credit card to be refunded. Pros: * The location is good. It is close to stores, retaurants and the train.

No lift in the building - climbing to the top floor with heavy luggage was hard. No air con and windows only open slightly. We stayed during a heatwave and the room was stinking hot. I know the weather in Scotland is usually cool, but for summer aircon should be working. We confirmed a late 12pm checkout, and had to go to the sister property to leave our bags there for the day because there is no reception desk at this property. Once we checked out, we did a few things and headed there closer to 1pm. When we got to reception the first thing the girl said was that’s a really late check out? I said we confirmed a late 12 pm check out and she replied ye but it’s 1pm! I then told her we checked out at 12 and she repeated ye but it’s 1pm. She said it as though I can’t read the time or that I was lying. I then had to explain to her that we checked out at 12, we did a few things and then went to drop our bags. I had to tell her that housekeeping was there at 11:50 and she can check with them before she dropped the subject. Regardless it was none of her business what we were up to in the time after we checked out. If it’s such an issue for them to believe what time guests checked out maybe they should employ some checkout police at that property. It was unnecessary and rude and we made to feel like we were lying and had done something wrong when in fact we had done nothing wrong. Definitely will never stay there again because of the way she made us feel.

We were able to reach the property on foot after getting off the tram at Haymarket Station. Took less than 5 minutes. We were given a code ahead of time for the front door and our room and we appreciated that they were the same so you don’t have to try and remember so many numbers. Our room was on the first floor, no elevators guys, but it wasn’t a problem for us because we only had two carry ons. The room was small but clean and the bed extra comfy! Bathroom was tight and although older everything was functioning and clean. Really appreciated being able to leave our luggage after check out at their second property just 5 minutes away.

Fantastisk! Vi hade bokat Suite på entrévåning allt exakt som bilderna på hotels.com . Det var nära Haymarket station , enkelt att promenera till det mesta. Restaurang ,affär och grönska i närheten. Väldigt fint område att promenera i ☺️ Soffan och sängen bekväm att sova i . Vi var fem vuxna och det fungerade utmärkt!
