You cannot ask for a better location for a hotel. This spot is right at the corner of the iconic Victoria Street. The facilities were clean and being attached to the pub is a nice perk. Helpful staff are available around the clock and were responsive to each of our requests. I would stay here again! Note: if you are using public transit to get around, be prepared for a strenuous hike up the hill with your bags.

The location of this hotel is perfect for touring old town Edinburgh. Situated in the Grassmarket surrounded by shops, restaurants and pubs. Very walkable location. Hotel is small and clean. Staff are so helpful. Our room was small, but had all amenities. Highly recommend.

The staff were amazing! They were very accommodating to our needs during our short stay. The room was clean and spacious. The only thing that changed our full experience was the climate in the rooms. The AC did not work and the windows were inoperable, which made the room so humid and hot. They provide a fan, but it does not help circulate the air. It was so uncomfortable to sleep at night and get ready in the morning.

The room was spacious and the finishings were modern and fun. It was noisy at times with music, we weren't sure if it was coming from the pub next door or another guest room, but thankfully it usually quieted down by the evening. Great location for walking the Royal Mile and near a lot of restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
