Townhouse was within walking distance of the train station and bus stops. Slightly larger walks to the Royal Mile but doable. Nice shops nearby too. Our room was pretty but a bit small. We stayed in the St. Mary’s. It was a nice stay.

The Grosvenor Room was very nice and convenient, being on the first floor and all. The room was very nicely decorated. We didn't encounter any noise problems from the street. No nearby bars or heavy traffic. The only slight dig was the tiny shower door I had to squeeze through and small-sized, but adequate, bathroom. Water pressure and temp were fantastic. Several restaurants, shops, and bus/trams stops within a quarter mile. The room was refreshed every day with clean towels. A taxi from the Railway station was less than 10p.

Staff were super helpful, mailed back a charger that I left at the accommodation! Staff were super helpful by text when I had questions about check in. Only downside was that room was incredibly small and the bathroom in particular was a struggle to use with the limited space.
