it was very clean, comfortable beds and quiet. I really enjoyed the evening gathering offered by the owner. He played instruments and sang as well as told stories about Scotland.

I stayed in a single room and shared bathroom. The view into the garden was a great way to wake up. No complaints! The only issue I had was that the walls are thin and the people next to me were not concerned with waking others. Their shower pipes ran the wall next to my head while I was sleeping. They showered late at night. Other than that the staff was amazing, the Scottish music was phenomenal, and breakfast was a great start to my day. Thank you Averon Guest House for making my visit even better.

The location is a 15 to 20 min walk to the castle. Breakfast is sit down continental and is nice. The owner does a music and history talk at night which was enjoyable. The building has history that he talks about. The staff is ....friendly

chambre d'hôte vintage très charmante à Edimbourg

Hébergement très proche centre à peine 13 minutes à pied. Notre séjour à 5 s'est très bien passé dans cette chambre d'hôte familiale au charme très désuet. Personnel très sympathique et mention spéciale pour le propriétaire Alan Cran pour son concert folklorique du soir.
