An absolute gem of a guest house

My room and bed was very comfortable. There is also a reception room with lots of lovely touches, such as breakfast items, toaster, microwave and various books and games.

Great welcome from a very friendly and knowledgeable young man. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. The traffic was loud day and at night, we were given ear plugs but they weren’t particularly useful against the noise. That is the only negative, beautiful house , well presented and everything is thought of.

We stayed here on our 1st trip to Scotland and could not have had a better place to stay in Edinburgh. The owners were so helpful and knowledgeable. They helped us with bus & train schedules, keeping our luggage after checkout, and even finding our lost cell phone! The room was clean & comfy! Would definitely stay here again!

Staff were friendly, helpful. Bus very handy. Would definitely recommend for anyone who doesn’t need to be in town. Would have been helpful to know there aren’t any restaurants or pubs in close proximity. A list of those nearby with walking or commuting times would have been helpful. What an amazing stay. Sylvia and Lukas were so wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was relaxing and enjoyable. As a solo traveller it’s always a concern finding safe comfortable accomodation. 4 friends delivered beyond expectation. Room was gorgeous. Bed super comfy. Highly recommend this wonderful guest house. Convenient location with buses at doorstep.

Good price for Edinburgh hotel

This hotel was very reasonably priced for expensive Edinburgh. 20 mins by bus to the train station. Walking distance to the Royal Yacht. The staff were very friendly. No included breakfast, but they were a few complimentary breakfast items in the lobby, which we made use of. The room was very clean.
