Wonderful welcoming staff at a clean modern facility. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Hotel is conveniently located right along the #1 and #13 bus routes, and there's grocery and dining options a short walk away. We would certainly come back next time we're in the area!

June 2024 We will be back here on our next trip!

Our stay was excellent. Comfortable, staff was very warm and made us feel at home. We asked for suggestions for different things and they were eager to share their experiences with us which was very helpful. It was close to town and we would definitely stay here again.

Upon departing the Martha's Vineyard ferry from Vineyard Haven, we drove less than 15 minutes to the Edgar Hotel. The staff were welcoming, hospitable, and helpful with suggestions for places of interest to visit. The room was new, spacious, clean with a comfortable bed, and was quiet except for the exit door near our room that would slam shut and wake us up at 5:30 AM. Our corner room had many windows that offered natural light, however, we were on the first floor and cars parked outside our window could see in if we had the blinds open. The only thing missing are black out curtains. The shower faucet was difficult to turn off if you have arthritis. These are minor things in comparison to the convenient location next to Stop and Shop market, ample parking, and close proximity to all the shops, restaurants, and beach. We will gladly reserve a room here again next time we visit.

The exterior of the hotel feels like you are walking into a quaint cottage. It blends in beautifully with the historical nature of the town of Edgartown. The renovation is gorgeous, as well as the interior design of the rooms. The check-in process with Jaron at the front desk was perfection. With a very friendly and courteous demeanor, he discussed all of the amenities, and got us checked into our room in short order.

The staff was very nice. We felt the price was very high given the location and lack of facilities. About a mile walk into town where shops and most restaurants are (few restaurants closer by). Carpets were worn, no daily housekeeping (you can request). If this was on the water, or had a pool or exercise facilities, or closer to downtown, may have changed our opinion slightly.
