The accomodation sold as a bungalow was a cabin and the price (300€/night) did not include cleaning, breakfast or a feeding chair for the baby. It was not communicated in advance that we are required to clean the cabin ourselves. We did like that the cabin had two separate bedrooms and kids loved the swimmingpool.

Lovely stay in Åland

Spent 5 days in Åland and could have spent more. While it isn’t crowded post mid August, the property is in the quieter part of Åland, which we preferred. Sauna was super lovely, cottage was clean, more than ample kitchenware. All seemed new. Friendly staff who gave good travel tips and were able to buy stamps. We didn’t use the activities and rather used our time biking towards JĂ€rso and trekking in Geta and exploring the island views. The only hiccup is that the right amount of linen and towels weren’t provided but fixed once notified.

Mysig och aktiv familjesemester!

Fantastiskt fint stÀlle som jag gÀrna ÄtervÀnder till. Stugorna ligger vackert i naturskönt omrÄde och man störs inte av andra grannar. Stranden Àr badvÀnlig, med flera vattenrelaterade aktiviteter, frÄn lekplats, till badleksak ute i vatten, SUP, kajak, roddbÄt men det finns Àven en pool vid restaurangen. Mycket lÀmpligt för familjer som vill ha en aktiv semester (gymma, cykla, paddla, vandra) men Àven för folk som vill ta det lungt. Det finns Àven guidad jetskitur (Äker inte vid stranden), minigolf, beachvolly, padel. Stugorna (4-6 pers) har helt kök för egenhushÄll, stort badrum och 2 sovrum, mysig uteplats, utedusch och bastu, AC, kamin. Allt vad vi behövde för en mysig och aktiv familjesemester!

Vi hyrde en bungalow med bastu som hade plats för 6 personer, vilket inte riktigt stÀmmer dÄ det bara fanns 4 stolar bÄde inne och pÄ uteplatsen. Det hade heller inte gÄtt att laga mat för 6 personer med utrustningen som fanns i köket. Generellt sÄ var boendet alldeles för dyrt för vad man fick. Stugan var vÀldigt spartansk, trÄkigt inredd och kÀndes omodern. Vi trodde att poolomrÄdet skulle vara exklusivt för campingens gÀster men den Àr öppen för alla som besöker strandomrÄdet. Det positiva var nÀrhet till sandstrand och trevlig personal.

Jag skulle fira min 70-Ă„rsdag och vi valde Åland eftersom vi talat om det tidigare. Vi valde detta stĂ€lle för att det lĂ„g bra till frĂ„n fĂ€rjan och eftersom Åland inte Ă€r jĂ€ttestort Ă€r det inte lĂ„ngt till nĂ„got. Stugan var bĂ€ttre Ă€n vĂ€ntat, dock hade köksutrustningen lite smĂ„brister. LikasĂ„ minilivsen, dĂ€r var det stora brister i utbudet samtidigt som priserna lĂ„g vĂ€ldigt mycket över samma i en "vanlig" affĂ€r. Överlag hade vi en vĂ€ldigt trevlig vistelse och kan absolut tĂ€nka oss att Ă„ka tillbaka till detta stĂ€lle.

You need a car, bed linen, towel, and shower gel.

The cabin that we stay was new and clean. The environment and activities here is good. We tried canoe and mini-golf. However, the place is quite remote, you definitely need a car. If not, you need to walk about 45 minutes from the bus stop to this "resort". And actually it is not a resort, it is a camp site. You need to pay 16 euro for renting the bed linen and towel per person. And they don't provide shampoo and shower gel. They do have free lanudry.
