We needed a cheap room for one night and this served our purpose. Enjoyed the pool time and nice staff. Rooms are spacious. The only thing was breakfast was listed on the site but it was never mentioned at check in so I’m not sure if they had it or not. Great one night stay.

When we first arrived, we thought the place was closed. Parking lot was full of weeds and the area around the motel looked abandoned. We went to the motel next door and they told us it was actually open so we went back and entered the lobby area. The front desk person welcomed us and said they had just reopened and only one wing of the building was ready. Surprisingly, the pool was open. Rooms were clean and everything was functional.

New owners are super nice. They have only had the property for 10 days but i think its going to be a decent hotel. Odd thing though, they made us pay before we stayed the night. I was uncomfortable with that but they showed us the room and it was just fine.

Breakfast included is a joke. Instant coffee with no spoon. Granola bars from Walmart was the grab and go. If you just are sleeping and going it’s good but if you are looking to unwind from a long drive and a fresh start in the am, this isn’t the place.

The bedding and towels smelled clean but had stains all over. There were signs everywhere say no smoking but room definitely smelled like smoke. The breakfast options were next to nothing. We would have even taken a frozen microwaveable breakfast sandwich or something. The outside door to access our room from where we parked never worked. The pool was clean and we spent a lot of time there but that was about the only clean feeling thing about this stay.

Sad place. Old, needs repair. No coffee maker in room. No breakfast as promised, only a coffee station, and no one at reception? Spackle on wall beside bed. No place to charge devices. Rotten baseboard in bathroom. Comfortable beds, large room. The check in process was fine.

When we first arrive we were put in Rm 166...this room was on the side of the building broken down vehicle that looked like it had a fire in it at some time.I could not stay in rm 166 because it was filthy..i requested another room which staff was happy to help us.the new room was Rm 113 looked like a mansion compared where they first put us. LESSON LEARNED YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR...WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN...

One attendant - friendly, but very hard to understand. Could not figure out TV, & attendant was no help. Door was very difficult to open. No soap, shampoo, etc. in bathroom. Other guests told us the wifi did not work. Room, itself, was very roomy, nice, and clean.

Get a different hotel

Zero creature comforts. Hotels states bar and restaurant neither are open. Hotel staff was kind enough to say it’s because of an area drug problem. You won’t be able to watch TV as the Wi-Fi doesn’t work and unless you have your own person internet hook up and tv provider you can’t watch tv. The pool was open. But the hot tub was roped off because it to, does not work. Toilet didn’t want to flush and that pretty much tops it.

I would never stay that hotel again in Chippewa Falls. In rooms need paint, need new furniture. TV no CLOSED CAPTIONED I told manager about TV closed captioned because I am deaf. Remote TV is small can't find closed captioned button. NOT HAPPY! Swimming pool is okay, no whirlpool block wall by whirlpool. I just want to be nice place. I didn't know about change name.

OK. Prefer more for cost.

Room rate was reasonable when booked 3 months earlier, but when reducing from 2 nights to 1 night a couple of weeks in advance, suddenly single Q bed room was not available (through hotels.com) and cost increased about 40% for 1 night in 2 Q room. Check in was smooth, seemed friendly, provided information about breakfast and wifi access. (This was the only staff person we saw, and the only time we saw any staff throughout our visit). Room was OK; it could have been cleaner. Sticky walls in bathroom and by door. Garbage on floor behind nightstand (seen when looking for outlet). Thin walls. Could hear TV from room next to us. Had to turn fan on constant to block noise to allow sleep. Only 1 electric outlet on lamp on nightstand, and USB port seemed damaged and didn’t work. Tub drain didn’t work. Renovations seem to be underway, but unfinished. Gap under bathroom door, gap at top of room door (hung crookedly). Snagged carpet in room, etc. Unusual scent throughout hallway, possibly from restaurant. Bed was comfortable, but top sheet seemed short and easily came untucked. Most disappointing, no coffee or breakfast prepared 30 minutes after it was supposed to be available in the morning. No staff at desk. Many guests left rather than waiting. For cost, prefer breakfast and better accommodations.
