“Margaret was incredibly helpful in providing suggestions on how to navigate the city and provided excellent suggestions for restaurants. The morning breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our room was very spacious, the couch was very comfortable and the bed was fantastic. After a full day of walking around Dover, this was a very special retreat. The views are just amazing. We will plan a trip to spend more time with Margaret.”

“The pub was lovely, the food was good and the staff were very helpful. The only problem was that the room had been very liberally sprayed with Fabreeze, including the bed linens, which sadly caused me to have an asthma attack and meant I had to cut short my stay.”

“Overall we had a great stay at the Ship Inn . Staff were lovely especially the male member of staff who served us in the restaurant with drinks and food . He went over and above to please had a wonderful friendly personality . A great asset to the team . Sorry we didn’t get your name . The down sides were the mattress in the Royal room needs replacing and we were kept awake until 1am by either an argument going on or very loud animated talking ! The absolute positive of our visit was the food...

“Hotel was nice and comfortable overall. Breakfast was great! Only hiccup was that hotel rebooked us in a different room than I had booked without telling us, new room didn't have bed set up that we wanted.”
