Located in Eastsound, Rosario Resort is near the airport and on a private beach. We stayed in room 307, building 1300, just left of the main mansion building. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean, the view was beautiful. The only thing about the room I didn’t like was a shared balcony with the other guests. It wasn’t a big deal, but I thought we were renting a private deck. Otherwise I had a great stay. We will be coming back for another trip.

We were there in late October. We didn't get booked at the main resort building but at one of the side buildings. (no pool or hot tub facilities open). The restaurant at one of the other side buildings was elegant but we didn't have many vegetarian options available so we had an over priced fish and chips dish. However, our room was beautiful, had a fireplace and was right on the bay so our view was spectacular. One channel only on the TV but it was Netflix and so we watched a movie.

There is a front desk down at the main office, but most assistance is provided remotely 24/7 by the app or text. They are very responsive. We stayed in the Roundhouse right on the cove, the view was amazing and we really enjoyed it. We arrived at the end of the season and it was very quiet.

Best thing was the view. Looked right at the fireworks at eye level. Tha great big bathroom with the Jacuzzi bathtub was very nice too. We had a fridge, stove, and utensils and pans too. When we had to check out early because of a family emergency they were very gracious.

Selina was wonderful! She gave us a ride to our room a mile up hill and picked us up in the morning! The other guy at the desk said they didn’t have a shuttle and told us to go online to find our room. The pool closed at 6pm disappointing. Food was great. Just don’t try bringing your family of 28 on a Wednesday evening. They laughed at us!

First, there aren’t a ton of locations on Orcas island, so this is all relative, but we’re probably going to shop around further in advance next time. The good: Nice view of the harbor, with lots of day trips leaving from the harbor. The staff was very nice and took our luggage while the room was getting prepped. Full kitchen and large bath and living area. Very livable! There was a balcony for our room that overlooked the grounds and harbor. It’s not close to town so it was very quiet at night, which was nice. The less-good: We are huge users of the ice machine and air conditioning, and for the price we paid, we would have liked to had the convenience. We had to drive to another building for ice, and there was no AC. It was still summer, so kind of hard to sleep with the heat. In fact the fireplace flame didn’t turn off and staff were unable to turn it off so we had constant heat coming from that. The building itself was pretty dated, and again for the money we kind of expected a little more. It’s about 15 minutes from the town driving. Nice drive though. If you enjoy the camp cabin style environment this might be right up your alley. It seemed expensive to us considering the condition, but we had a a nice visit.

This property is in a very nice location. We missed the sign on the main road and had to make a u-turn. The room was typical, they do not have staff for 24 hr check in. It's done on your phone. They send you your room number and code to get in. The problem with this is there is no wifi service and Verizon has no phone service. Before you get there make sure you have all the information that you need. With no service there you are out of luck. They have a private beach but we never saw it. We had been driving all day and arrived at 2:00. Check in is at 4:00. We hoped to check in a little early. If our room had been ready they would have charged us $25 to check in early. They should change that policy.

The waterfront location was very nice and peaceful, however, room updates would make this venue more desirable. When booking, we were under the impression this was a part of the Moran Mansion property (which at one time it may have been, but not anymore). The mansion is now closed and owned by a new owner who is renovating. The booking site was somewhat unclear on some details, but staff were kind and helpful.

We stayed in a deluxe suite, it was obviously recently done and looked immaculate, including linens and towels; the suite had 2 balconies with view over the bay. On the negative side there were no restaurants open in Rosario but Eastsound is a less than a 10 minute drive and there were several there. Very close to Moran Nationalpark, plenty of hiking and scenery; the Moran mansion however is closed.

We had a nice stay at the hotel even though everything was closed. We knew that when booking though. The property as a whole needs renovating (hence closed), but the location on a peninsula was great with great views. You can see the potential of the property. And the grounds are pretty well maintained. You can walk around the grounds from the harbor to the other side/other bay. We saw an otter, harbor seal, sea stars, and eagles. Our room was clean and had everything we needed, but the carpet definitely needs replacing. We would stay there again if cost was still reasonable. I would choose an oceanfront room though, to get a full view of the bay. The staff were great and were very responsive to our needs.
