Very nice old building though showing it's age a bit. Owners are very nice and helpful and overall had a very pleasant stay. Very comfortable bed and lovely views over the sea.

Lovely Hotel,has been said before,bit dated but so are a lot of the hotels in Eastbourne the room we stayed in a large double sea view was lovely the view over the sea was superb staff very friendly and helpful,for the price excellent value ,would stay again

Although basic, it comes with little extras that are nice surprises like a breakfast goodie bag, and even little chocolate biscuits by reception on a help yourself basis. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. If you want to spend your days out in the beautiful town and just want a warm place to sleep,,,,, Highly recommended

Friendly hotel, room had an amazing sea view. Loved how they had put a dog bed, left out a bowl of water and a bag of treats for our little dog. Already recommended to my doggy friends. We had a great stay…shame it was for only one night!

Hotel at the seafront within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the pier. A great base to explore Eastbourne and its surroundings. Rooms were a bit dusty in places, but nothing really worrisome.

A pleasant stayover

Good value for money for a 1 night stay and waking up in the morning with an incredible sea view. The bed is super comfy and the room with a bay window is spacious. The hotel is old but the staff are very friendly and always keen to help. Parking right outside the buildingis free between 6pm and 8am - ideal for a business overnight. It is a beautiful town for an afternoon stroll.

If I had more money I would of gone a stay somewhere else there is no facilities to get anything to eat my room was nothing like it was showed you on the pictures I’ve never been so disappointed in staying somewhere as I was staying in this hotel yes the staff which I say was okay there was not one room that you showed me on hotel Bookingcom that was in that hotel yeah only thing I can say about it was the bed was comfortable

Comfortable and pleasant

I booked a family stay (2 adults 1 teen) for the August bank hol. I was expecting a triple room but to my surprise it was a queen room and separate room with bunk bed which my daughter enjoyed. The bunk bed was a pain though as it creaked and squeaked at every turn - even a sneeze. The bathroom was clean, but dated. Tiny corner sink which made a mess when washing our face/brushing teeth. Mannerable staff at hotel, very welcoming and friendly.

Room was full of fungus, wet ceiling, water damaged, ants were crawling around the room. room didn't had any airconditions and window were forbidden to open fully.

Great staff, great location, complementary breakfast included ( croissants jam, yogurts and juice) but property needs refurbishment. It was a very good price though. Room we stayed was redone in 2021 but that means painted over the old wallpaper and walls, yellow stains coming already through the paint. Twin no sea view room had poorly fitted bathroom linoleum, uneven floor with mouldy creased shower curtain that kept letting water through onto the bathroom floor. Shower head kept collapsing. Shame it wasn’t fully upgraded.
