The seaview is pretty good, The toilet has bad drainage smell on the first night and the hotel team quickly helped us change to another room. Pets stayed here is quite expensive, the food in the restaurant is all right. Parking is a bit tricky on the main road.

We had the best time away for our girls trip. We didnt eat in the hotel but we did have breakfast which was so lovely. Everything we wanted on offer. Our room was a sea view room and it was brilliant, so glad we chose to upgrade. Only things We would comment on as i feel the bathrooms could slightly be more modern and the rooms could benefit from air con but there was fans provided. Overall it was an amazing night away and we would defo return. Thank you

What a lovely hotel! We loved the different lounge rooms to relax in and plenty of games for children. My parents and my family stayed here with three kids for a family reunion. The location is good. Service is impeccable in the bar. We ate in the restaurant and overall it was nice but Tomahawk Pork was dry and vegetables were very oily. Also Fish of the day was overcooked. However, we were a party of ten and the other meals were excellent. We also had seaside afternoon tea which was fabulous! Would I stay here again? Absolutely. The communal rooms were lovely and comfortable. Kevin was an amazing evening host. Bar staff were amazing and friendly. Cleaning staff were friendly and accommodating. Eastbourne as a destination highly recommend! Our fist time and loved all it has to offer.

Family-run hotel with great customer service

The Lansdowne is an amazing family-run hotel in a great location for exploring the scenic town of Eastbourne. The breakfasts are superb and the traditionally furnished lounge is a tranquil spot to while away some time boosted by the backdrop of sensational sea views. The bar menu offers some nice snacks too.The hotel provides reasonably priced parking permits so you can park opposite the hotel.
The scenery in Eastbourne is amazing.
The pier is an amazing focal point.
The architecture in Eastbourne is so elegant.

We stayed here for an overnight birthdat getaway. Lovely hotel and good amenities. This includes a bar and restaurant. The hotel has a small seating conservatory area at the front of the hotel which looks out to.the sea. Parking is in zone H opposite hotel controlled by Ringo.but its better to get a 24hr voucher for £2.55 from reception. Its a good location for Beachy Head, the beach and local shops. We had a seaview room with good views The room is decorated well and the bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower. More attention needed in cleaning the shower hose tube which had black mould/ timescale on it. But apart from that all other areas were clean. The beds were very comfortable. The room had a tv, clean kettle and cups with a selection of tea amd coffee inc biscuits. There is a lift to access all floors of the hotel . The hotel uses recycled toilets paper and water bottles. Drinks from the bar; We bought a bottle of water endorsed by the hotel by Aqua Libra- very expensive £4.55..and two bottles of Appletiser at £3.55 ea. I dont mind spending a little more but in my opinion this is a lot. We didnt used the 1912 restaurant, but it has good reviews. Overall, its a nice family owned hotel with welcoming staff. We would visit again.
