I had a very enjoyable stay. Comfortable room, good breakfast. Sharon & Neil helpful and friendly. Located approx 15 mins walk from the pier and Carpet Gardens, but has bus stops very close. I would be happy to stay there again.

We had a lovely two night stay here and it was excellent in all respects. Sharon is a wonderful, friendly host. The location was spot on for exploring. Breakfast was great. Will come again one day

A Great Find

Great find. Fiona and James are very welcoming and helpful hosts. The room was lovely and big and the welcom tray well stocked. Lovely clean bathroom and plenty of toiletries. Would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely stay , Sharon (and Teddy) , were extremely friendly and welcoming . Our room and the guest house in general was very clean and the breakfast was lovely (I had the Full English both days). The location was very good with only a 10-15 minute into the main part of town or a 20 second walk to the beach front . Well worth the high rating it already has , thanks Sharon for a great stay !!!

We enjoyed our two night stay at Bay Lodge. Our room, and the bed, was very comfortable. We had a nice veranda which we enjoyed sitting out. We were made to feel very welcome by Sharon the owner who was very helpful. We had two very good breakfasts during our stay.

The host was exceptionally welcoming. Attended to our every needs. Room was bright, clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was bespoke to our wishes. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking a value for money and friendly guest house.

Sharon, one of the owners, makes this place special. She asks your name, and continues to use it in such a friendly manner that you feel like she sees you as a friend staying with her, rather than a paying guest. The breakfasts are very good and you never feel rushed to eat up and leave the breakfast room. Location wise it is spot on, with everything you need only a few minutes walk away. The rooms are clean, and the beds are very comfortable. I cant recommend this place highly enough and would definitely stay here again.

A lovely friendly welcome from Sharon. Our room was clean & had everything we needed. Bed was comfy. A 10 min walk into the main town where there are lots of eating places. Breakfast the next morning was very nice, cooked well & warm, plus a good choice of cereals, fresh fruit & fruit juice. Couldn't fault our stay, would definitely rebook if we return to Eastbourne

Fantastic hosts!

We loved absolutely everything! Sharon and Neil were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. We just felt at home as soon as we arrived. Our room was so comfortable as was the bed. Despite Storm Babet we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would love to return when we’re next in Eastbourne.

The guest house owner messaged before arrival to find out the arrival time so all was ready. A very warm welcome was ready for us. We were showed to our room and everything about our stay was explained in detail. The room was very clean and lots of extras like plenty of products in the bathroom, tea, coffee, biscuits and cakes on arrival. Breakfast had a lot to offer, full English, cereal, fresh fruit etc Overall an excellent stay and guest house, highly recommend
