An excellent location with magnificent potential. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Desk staff was exceptional. Breakfast and grounds could be improved. In warmer weather the pool would be inviting. Tennis courts were available as well as an excellent gym. Overall I had a lovely visit and will return if I am in the area again.

Eugene was very welcoming and accommodating. We loved the charm and history of the old Inn. Very nice fitness area and several sitting rooms on the main floor. Quiet area but not far from stores/dining. If you don't want to climb the stairs, request a room on the ground floor. Definitely would stay here again.

We were pleasantly surprised to see our room. It was up-to-date, clean with brand, new bedding, great pillows, a coffee maker and refrigerator very nice accommodations. The inside was very clean. Eugene was great at the front desk. Weā€™re glad we made the step there at during our travels to the East Coast. Disappointed that the pool was not open as we were planning on sitting there after a long drive. We appreciated the snacks of water and cookies and chips that were available at the office. Would stop there again.

Rustic and simple but very clean room in a quiet and peaceful off-the-beaten-track area with a friendly and helpful manager. When an unforeseen weather event took down many trees and power lines, resulting in no electricity or running water that night and with the street temporarily blocked, the manager was very kind and helpful and provided water bottles and offered adjustments. This was in the face of a days-long disaster for both the inn and the whole township.

The Inn was in the midst of renovation & updating, but Charlie the innkeeper could not have been a better host! I use ā€œinnkeeperā€ because he exuded the old-style charm, service and attention to guests of a bygone era! He catered to our every need and made sure our stay was enjoyable. Will definitely go back!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful for getting around the property. However, we came after check-in & the room we booked, was no longer available. Although we appreciated the upgrade, the room was dirty and not very accommodating. The amenities were also very misleading. Although wifi isnā€™t the most pressing issue, it was very poor.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pocono Inn Resort, our room was spacious and clean. It also provided plenty of towels and toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion). The beds were also pretty comfortable and the bedding was very nice. Eugene at the front desk was awesome, he was super friendly and we spent quite a bit of time talking with him about the Inn and the local area. He was such a pleasure all weekend. There is a really nice gym onsite and plenty of sitting rooms in the main building to relax and hang out. There are also snacks and water offered throughout your stay, which is a really nice touch. The location is also very centralized to many places such as Bushkill Falls, horseback riding, restaurants, shopping, and more. Now for the consā€¦..there is a definite need for some improvements and renovations. First of all, the grass, it was explained to us that they are having trouble with their lawn guy and although we understand this, the high grass makes the place look abandoned and unwelcoming. The grounds are absolutely lovely, but you canā€™t really enjoy them at this point. The towels were very rough and maybe could be replaced. The bathroom door in our room needs to be replaced as it is falling apart. There was a back door in our room which lead to an outside ā€œpatioā€, but there was nowhere to sit and enjoy and there are also hedges blocking the view. With all that said, we will absolutely be back and look forward to our next stay.

This is an Inn with character and history, yet great modern amenities. Eugene at the front desk was friendly and helpful and gave us a tour of the historic Inn area. Our room was in a separate building nearby and had very comfortable beds, a large TV and everything we could want. Our kids loved the big tree swings overlooking the long sweeping lawn with forest views. There is a pool plus two extremely-well stocked gyms plus ping pong, pickle ball, and basketball. The surrounding area was beautiful with a real feel of the Poconos and yet food options were not far away. We were also suprised that a delicious continental breakfast was included, which we hadn't expected. We would definitely stay here again.
