The Spring Garden is a small (12 rooms) motel tucked away on Rt. 6A, bordering the Scorton Creek Marsh -- that in itself is one of the best features! Picturesque, serene, much quieter than the hustle and bustle of motels and hotels along Rt. 28.
The place has been around for years, and that is evident in its quaintness. While the furnishings are adequate and the rooms appear to be painted regularly, they are showing their age in some ways. Ground-level rooms can have a bit of a musty smell, but the bedding and towels are fresh and dry. Windows can be opened to take advantage of the breeze coming off the marsh, but newer window air conditioners are in place as well. (Be aware that given its age, the soundproofing between a ground-level room and the room above leaves a little to be desired.) Picnic tables and Adirondack chairs are available on the lawn for relaxing and enjoying the view, along with patio chairs and small tables outside each room.
It's affordable, and conveniently located to the restaurants and beaches along the Bay side of the Cape between Sagamore and Hyannis. Traditional Cape Cod at its finest!
