Unfortunately our stay was the same week that was plagued by insurmountable seaweed on the beach, causing terrible smells. We know this isn’t the resorts fault, but they did eventually have trucks out to remove it after a few days. We did not do an all inclusive option, so the breakfast buffet was rather expensive per person. Drinks at the beach bar were great. Not aware that maid service wasn’t automatic and that placing the maid service tag on your door did not mean they would actually stop by and perform main service so recommend calling the front desk to schedule cleaning as needed. Overall, we had a great stay. Just wish a little bit more communication during check-in about maid service was available. Very convenient that there was a fosters across the street.

Was very pleased with the Ocean Reef which apparently went through change of ownership on April 1st. Note it is no longer a Wyndham Resort Staff were welcoming and all amenities were perfect. East End is another part of Grand Cayman worth exploring.

I was very disappointed that I looked forward to having a room with direct access to the beach. The beach was unbearable to enjoy during my stay due to the putrid rotten egg smell the massive piles of seaweed caused. The water was a murky dirty color. I had booked this hotel to be able to enjoy swimming/snorkeling in the ocean. I could not even enjoy walking along the beach due to the horrible smell. Also my room was not cleaned at all during my stay though I hung out the maid service sign requesting service. The only bright spot to this hotel was how good the food was both off the menu and on the special buffet nights. The all inclusive price however was too high for what was offered. The hotel is very interested in providing tours to sell timeshares/condos. Not what my vacation was about.

The Reef Resort was outstanding. The property was clean, and the customer service was exceptional. The grounds and pools were easy to access, making it simple to relax and enjoy every part of the resort. The beach felt like our backyard—just steps away—with a beautiful coastline that added to the peaceful atmosphere. There was great entertainment and delicious food throughout our stay. Overall, it was a relaxing, enjoyable experience that I would definitely recommend.

The property had everything we needed. It was confortable and clean. The room was a bit outdated, but it was not bad. The bathroom faucet was has to use. I had to call for someone to come and show me. The TV was a smart TV but the internet as blocked and I was not able to use it. The service was great, this is a perfect hotel to stay in one place. For me, it was a little far from town. But I would recommend it. Great value for the money.
