“Friendly welcome. Characterful room with good quality tea tray. Great breakfast. Unfortunately the room was not overly clean and the bathroom in particular was tired, run down and felt grubby. Black and dirty sealant around the outside of shower. Broken tiles on floor, broken loo roll holder, grubby and badly marked walls and thick dust/grime on skirting. With a deep clean and a little maintenance this could be a great place to stay.”

“The staff were faultless, very helpful & polite. Particularly the one Lady on reception and breakfast duties. She was incredibly efficient, she really needed help but worked her socks off to keep all happy.
The breakfast was excellent and choice for vegans.”

“It was a nice little hotel, room was spotless and the staff were very friendly.
However, if the current hot weather is going to be a recurring feature in future years, then the hotel may want to consider installing air conditioning going forward.
Obviously the heat wasn’t the fault of the hotel, and it didn’t detract the enjoyment of my stay. It’s merely a suggestion for the future.”
