“The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel and facilities were very good value for money and much quieter than a similar priced stay in Chichester.”

“The room needs a lot of maintenance. The door is swollen and almost impossible to open, close and lock. The one window needs to be replaced. The lamp light had to be replaced, as well as the TV. The amenities in the bathroom were extremely sparse. There were no facial tissues. The patio was full of weeds. Breakfast was the best meal. All the staff were very nice and provided excellent service”

“We were lucky enough to take advantage of an offer on our 2 night stay. My partner has health issues and we were happy that there is a lift which made things a lot easier. The hotel is situated in a perfect position. Turn right from the door and there's two pubs offering food and the Historical dockyard just beyond that, everything within two mins walk. Turn right from the hotel door and another short walk will take you to a shopping centre with loads of good clothes shops and restaurants....

“Room was very dirty. Pillows had stains on them. The carpet had stains and the walls were peeling and had stains. The silicon around the sink and shower was dirty and had mildew. Dead flies on the window sills. Drawer inside the bathroom was laying on the floor. Rising damp on the bathroom ceiling and the bathroom fan was dusty. Grotty room overall. Breakfast was nice and the staff were nice and friendly.”

“The hotel and the pub are very tired and in desperate need of rlc and upgrade/refurb. Stains on everything from floors to ceiling. Chairs in the room and the bar that should be in the bin. The cleaners do a great job but the whole place needs dealing with. Green King you are better than this. ”
