The owners are kind and sweet and accommodating. Brittany is a rockstar!! The hotel is under renovation so very rudimentary. The price is quite low in comparison to other hotels so don’t expect what you’d get at an average hotel (Marriott, Best Western, Hyatt, etc.) including air conditioning (in some rooms). The beds were very comfortable with clean sheets. I love what they’re trying to do here. Best of luck with the continuing improvements!

I like to be honest when I write reviews so I can help others since I depend heavily on reviews. We moved rooms twice. Why? Bed bugs in the first room #529 and super loud kids next door at past 11pm. Thankfully that noise prompted me to ask for a change of rooms but I reported beinf bitten and when they checked, there were bugs in a patch on the bed 😡. Second room, 545 the AC was making a funny sound so maintenance came up thank God they did because we were telling him we had issues in our first room and so we pulled the cover and booooom a life spider on the pillow! Scary, then the AC completely went out, stopped working. He felt so bad so asked us to wait so they could properly inspect the last room before sending us in. Room 591 smelt different once we walked in so I knew it was likely ok. This was around 1:30am or slightly later. I reported all this to the manager who was very apologetic, allowed us a few extra hours to sleep in and gave us dinner vouchers for that stay and also half off our room. Since I was not looking for a freebie, I accepted and she reassured me that they would sort out those rooms and to return when in the area. Now to the bar, we got the steak and blue cheese burger and veggie soup of the day. The food was so good I had to send a message to the chef! I don't like vegetables but I finished the green beens! It was grilled to perfection! The food had the right amount of seasoning, generous with the portions. Lovely chef Jason Scott came over to say

It was clean, safe, and inexpensive. It was exactly what I needed.

Everything was as expected. Bed was very comfy. Nice updates to room.

Could use more hooks for towels and something to circulate air, towels do not dry or have a program to replace used towels. You will hear the train throughout your stay. Location is great!

Slightly outdated.

The bar restaurant was really good. They always have great food. It’s nice that it’s attached to the hotel.
