For a family of 6, we booked 3 standard rooms, which were small but good and kept clean daily by staff. The lobby area is nice and there are some games for kids to play. The breakfast is the highlight of this hotel, it’s buffet style with a decent amount of options. The hotel is also a 10min walk from Düsseldorf Hbf so it’s a great location for easy public transportation. Overall, my family and I enjoyed this hotel and would definitely recommend.

Good for a solo traveler

The hotel is 10 minutes away (walking distance) from the main train station, but the area looks a bit shady at night. The hotel is very good condition, although some dirt could be seen on the hallways and on my bedroom ceiling. Overall a pleasant experience, but not the best impression I’ve had from other Holiday Inn hotels.

Short visit with friends in Düsseldorf.

The hotel is new and very clean. The facilities are nice and have a fun feel. The staff are all friendly and fluent in English and German. I left a valuable item in the safe and they were very helpful in finding and returning it for me. It is also convenient to the central station. I am always happy to stay here.

Was a nice stay. The geese infront of the hotel were quite loud and the beds moved, since they were on wheels. But it was quiet inside the hotel and the room and service was nice and clean.

The lady at reception when we arrived early was rude and unhelpful. When we checked in later, there was someone else and he was friendly, efficient and the check-in was quick. The room was large and comfortable. As there is no shower door, we had some localised flooding in the bathroom. The bed was big, comfortable and had sufficient pillows. The room had lots of plug points, allowing for charging of multiple devices at the same time. The breakfast was the best, with the widest choice of any of the hotels we stayed in during this trip. It was also really tasty.

First the staff at reception were super friendly, special thanks to Haifa for also providing tips on what to do on a Sunday (when mostly everything is closed). Check-in.out were seamless. The room itseld was of good size, the bed and pillows were comfortable. The main station is a 10 mins walk away (for trains and buses). The breakfast was super delicious with a wide variety or drinks (juices and hot drinks). The only thing that could have made our stay better was if the AC had worked better; for some reason it didnt seem to cool the room and it got a little stuffy.

Nice and calm but what's that!

I like the area, arrived with bus so it was a couple of blocks walk to the hotel. It's easy to confuse with the Holiday Inn right across the road. The corridors and everything around felt new and soundproof in a way. But as i got into my room and had a look around, something crawled. and yep, it was a silverfish. I know they're not dangerous in any way and they can show up anywhere. But still it's not a nice thing. Beside that i would definitly try this place again Walkable area Didn't try restaurant or breakfast though

Brand new andclean but lack of comfort for couples

The hotel is brand new, conveniently located, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean overall. However, the beds were an issue. Even though I booked a double bed I didn’t really got one, there was just two single beds pushed together. Both nights were quite challenging, as the beds would easily separate, creating a large gap. Waking up in the middle of the night after falling into the gap didn’t make for the best rest. Additionally, there was no kettle or mugs in the room. However, an iron and ironing table were provided upon request.

I liked my short solo trip to Düsseldorf the niu couldn’t have been a more fitting place for me to stay. A short 5 min walk if that to the local underground station and a 10 min brisk walk to the main train station was ideal for myself as I was all over the city trying to see everything, the location was really quiet and nice to see families and those working in the surrounding area all coming together at the park beside the hotel. The breakfast was really tasty and lots of options but it done me perfectly as a set up for a days exploring. The room itself was tidy and set up nicely, with all the amenities you’d expect, although I did have to ask for an iron they provided it within around 5 minutes. The staff couldn’t have been nicer even in my short time here and are always happy to help and are multilingual so that helps a lot. As an improvement I’d maybe suggest explaining to guests the local areas and stuff close by as I had to find these myself, albeit not to much difficult, but pointing out a grocery store or recommending a restaurant close by would have gone a long way. Very much recommended stay to anyone in the area

I have to be honest… this is a BRILLIANT hotel! Great location, lovely modern rooms, great shower, comfy beds, blackout curtains, good sound proofing and a brilliant breakfast (shout out to the pancake making machine and Nutella dispenser!!). The only thing to let it down is some of the staff. Whilst many were friendly (especially at breakfast time), check-in was very slow (and not sure it was an isolated case as during our stay we often saw long queues for check in). And sadly the bar staff were the most miserable of all. No smiles, getting a drink seemed like an ordeal and you didn’t get made to feel like a welcomed guest; more of an inconvenience. However I would return as everything else was so good. Maybe next time I’ll get a smile or two! :)
