“Lovely country pub,spacious clean room with lovely big bathroom,really comfortable bed.Had a lovely evening meal, the waitress was really helpful and got our order in quickly after giving us the heads up that there were a lot of large parties in that evening and ordering promptly would be beneficial,food was amazing and good value. Breakfast the next morning was a wide choice and the hosts at the property were brilliant.Would definitely stay again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.”

“Upon arrival the reception was not staffed (unlike the confirmation stating it would be between 3pm and 7pm), ringing the number noted on the front door we were confronted with a very annoyed woman stating that text confirmation would have been sent for security codes for the required doors (no email nor text were ever received through Expedia or directly). “The property was very clean and comfortable and the staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Just a couple of observations . If a client is using derogatory foul audible language aimed at women in the bar area they should be asked to stop by the manager/bar tender - it’s not pleasant to be subjected to this if you’re sitting quietly trying to enjoy your own drink .
