Beautiful property and the rooms were air conditioned! I did think we would be staying in a castle, but apparently the castle is closed and under renovations being prepared to become an actual hotel, and the monastery onsite was also fenced off, so you couldn’t access the inside of it. If you want to golf, this is the place! Also the food was mediocre and expensive, and our dinner took a total of 2 hours from the time someone took our order to the time someone cashed us out.

Lovely, lovely place. Accommodations were immaculate, beds comfortable, heated floors in the cottage lodging was a welcomed surprise. Very quiet, beautiful place off the beaten path. You would need a car to get here or would have to hire a car/taxi. No shopping nearby, but there is an amazing castle and golf greens everywhere. Would stay here again.
