Plenty of parking, across the road from a lake. Not forgetting this is a very budget hotel, it was clean with new fittings and a comfortable bed. It could have been bigger in every way, but for the money we were very happy. Didn't opt for breakfast and brought a travel kettle for drinks. Pleasantly surprised that room service had cleaned and changed towels as we have spent much more money elsewhere and not had tgis service on a 2 night stay

It must be frustrating for hotel proprietors/owners when people leave bad reviews considering this a budget property.Good points,24 hr reception and free car park.Basic but ridiculously cheap breakfast.Adequate size room for one overnight stay.Warm room and everything was clean.The gentleman on reception in the evening was incredibly polite and the delightful lady in the morning was a credit to the hotel.

Slept well on comfortable beds, staff were friendly and helpful, location was easy from ferry port, price was excellent. Hotel is a bit tired and could do with an update, but for the price I cannot complain.

This is a budget hotel, so done expect luxuries it could do with a lick of paint and updating. However it served our needs really well for what we were doing and the location. The continental breakfast was more than adequate and set us up for the day. Not the restaurant and grill next door is no longer open but it's nothing to do with this hotel.

It’s a cheap 2/3 star hotel which at £40 for a double room and breakfast is a bargain. It’s not in the greatest condition but if you’re expecting more then you should be expecting to pay more. Perfect for an overnight stay before the shuttle or ferries.

Looks like the hotel is being renovated at the moment. My room had been freshly done, even including a microwave. It was perfectly pleasant for a single night and very reasonable for the small cost. Unfortunately a previous guest had clearly smoked inside so there was a strong odour when I walked in. Soundproofing is no good either. I could hear people on the balcony, but luckily no one stayed up late. Check-in at Premiere Classe hotels always seems to be slow, but the receptionist was pleasant, despite the language issues. I was able to check in earlier than 5pm without issue. I could also bring my bike into my room, or keep it inside a locked room in the reception area, which might be a good option if you have a heavy bike.

The hotel is very tired. Only one of the two lights in the bathroom worked, the shower head holder was broken, the outside of the building needs a deep clean and my wife saw a rat running around outside this morning! One good thing was we walked across the road to the Best Western restaurant to eat and of course, the Premiere Class was very cheap. On the plus side, the bedding was clean and crisp and the breakfast was OK for the price. Overall though I wouldn't recommend it

Room itself was fine and ok for the purpose of a cheap stay. But though there was flies in the room and noise from other guests talking loudly outside until 0030, the worst experience was a very rude receptionist. Whether he hated his job or the guests, he should either quit his job or change his attitude.

Can’t complain for the price you pay. Staff were lovely, building needs a bit of an update but again when it’s so cheap can look past that. Good for a one night stop over either before or after the train/boat as it isn’t too far away.
