Innisfree House is amazing. It is over a century old Edwardian townhouse owned by Robert DeNiro’s doppelgänger. He is an excellent host a pours a fabulous shot of TyrConnell whiskey and is a great conversationalist and family man. Our room was opulent and cozy. Breakfast was served in the dining room every morning with a variety of choices from the menu. This was included with the room. There is a coffee shop and market directly across the street. The lady who runs the place is Gitte,( I hope I got the spelling right). She is warm and witty and a wonderful hostess. This place provided us with not just a bed and breakfast but memories to last a lifetime. I pray that I will be back again. This place is wonderful.

Lovely clean rooms outstanding breakfast 1 off the best in a long time. Very pleasant staff nothing to much hassle go over and above Shops just a short strool away Would have loved to stay longer but will definitely be back. I highly recommend a stay here you will love it. Its also just around the corner from the train station great location Very happy with our stay

The Edwardian experience like no other! Excellent breakfast, cooked for you from the menu. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean room and hospitality tray. Room needed re wall papering and the shower was just warm enough but the water from the basin tap was very hot. Petrol station across the road with shop. Great pub across the road and walking distance to town.

Innisfree House was a lovely place to stay. Nicely old-fashioned and well-furnished common rooms and bedroom (but with modern kettle and TV!), very comfortable bed, and a delicious breakfast provided each morning. There didn't seem to be many other guests around during my stay and so the building was very quiet. Staff were all friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Business Overnight Stay

I had a lovely stay at the Innisfree Guest House. The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was gorgeous. It was perfect for my overnight stay. Only 3 minutes walk from the train station and probably another 4/5 minutes walk to the centre of Dundalk which is excellent. I would definitely stay there again in the future.

Best ever B & B I've ever stayed in

I had a simply amazing time when I stayed here. If there were a 10 star rating I would be ticking the box. Great nights sleep. Fabulous Breakfast It's a very beautiful house with such character and everything about it was perfect. It's a true gem and what all B & B should thrive to be. I'd highly recommend it to anyone and they all do afternoon tea and you rent the house entirely to yourself family and friends.

My stay was magical. The bed was so comfortable that I didn’t want to get up. If it wasn’t for the delicious breakfast that was being served, I might have stayed in bed. The staff really makes you feel like royalty. The beautiful interior, antiques, china, crystal, and chandeliers will take your breath away and transport you to a time gone by. I wholeheartedly recommend a stay at Innisfree House. I stayed 5 nights and really didn’t want to leave.

The building was magnificent, every room was so grand. We were on the top floor so that was extremely tiring but very wide stairs so that helped. Breakfast was superb. My only criticism was the soap dispensers weren't great. Luckily, we had our own soap so there was no need for us to go up and down those stairs! I must say though, my daughter (obviously, far younger) was fine with the top floor.
