It sits back a block from the main busy street thru town. The front of the room does not face trafic. The matress was outdated but the room was clean and priced accordingly.

The room was super clean and the beds comfortable. A diesel next door woke everyone up at 4am in the morning. Empty syrup dispenser for the waffle maker the next morning It was disappointing to find an Instant coffee maker for coffee.

Used the early check in option but when we arrived the staff could not find it even after receiving confirmation. The room was comfortable but the area around the motel smelled like cattle and that found its way into the room. There was nothing on the breakfast bar when we went down to eat.

A lil' GEM in Dumas.

We adore staying here as we used to stay down the street at the LQ. This is the second time in a week that we stayed here and the management-ownership saved the same pet-friendly room as a week ago (at our request). The hotel structure is not new but this Super 8 has new fixtures, new paint, no detectable odors, large refrigerator with a separate top freezer and everything is in working order especially the efficient air conditioning. Thank you, Super 8 Dumas.

Guess I can say it is convenient

The best I can say is the room was very clean, the bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable . The privacy curtains were in shreds. Not just our room but every room we passed. Breakfast is minimal and little to nothing for a diabetic. After the second day the added some yogurt and on our last day some bananas were added. If all you need is an inexpensive bed and are not bothered by the lack of aesthetics this is passable . I would not choose to stay here again.

Check in was fine, but the next morning no one was at the desk. Breakfast was set up but when we had a question, couldn't find anyone. Rang the bell at the front desk but no one came. Room was fine other than the lighting over the bathroom sink was terrible. Everything else was ok.

As expected

It was about what I expected. Beds were nice and clean and it is a spacious room. The mini fridge and microwave were good too. The bathroom sink drain smelled bad and it didn’t drain all that well. The bathtub didn’t have a drain stopper and my daughter felt like she needed to shower with her crocs on because of the condition of the bathtub. The AC also had a bad stench. I woke up the first night with a bug crawling on me and there was a huge spider in the bathroom. I also wasn’t expecting housekeeping to come in and make our beds on the second day because I saw a sign that said they come in after 3 days. Maybe that was just for towels. There was no “do not disturb” sign so there was no way to decline this although it was nice to have the bed made. We had to get new keys on the second day because ours weren’t working in the afternoon. We stayed here because hotel prices are outrageous for Dumas, TX and this was a more affordable option. It was a room to sleep in for two nights and it served its purpose.
