Beautiful views of the lake. Close to walking. Unfortunately when we checked in for our kids spring break the hotel told us their pool/hot tub/sauna was closed. Being out of town and our kids really looked forward to swimming was the majority of our plans. Along with booking here for their sauna, the only hotel I could find in Duluth with one. Their discounted our stay, but overall was disappointed. Had two find two different evenings of plans for our family. Will definitely call hotel directly next time vs expecting stay updates from Expedia. Hotel had good breakfast, views, rooms, balcony was perfect as well.

This hotel always has a great ambience and is located in a terrific spot right in Canal Park. There are several amenities, including breakfast and materials for roasting marshmallows in the evening. It was a busy weekend and staff couldn’t keep up with the water jug. It seemed to be empty every time I went to it. Overall, this is a great place to stay!

Great hotel on Canal Park. Stayed here due to location and am happy with the decision. Staff was friendly. We were here on December when there was a hockey tournament near by, that was the only issue. The boys running up and down the halls and banging on doors. Would request a lake view and not pool side next time.
