Absolutely the best hotel location for canal park. You are in a spot where you easily walk in canal park or to drive to a tourist destination like GLENSHEEN MANSION, THE ZOO, THE AQUARIUM, LUCE PIZZA, BURGER PARADOX, all around easy access to everything and the hotel pool, hot tub, lake seating for your own leisure was on point. Definitely recommending to everyone

The lodge is right on Lake Superior. We had a balcony room looking at the water, very nice. Parking is included, which is nice to have a it gets crowded in town. The room was large and clean. Breakfast was ok, eggs watery, hash browns looked like chopped rice. They have a fire pit to sit around in the evening, which was relaxing. Overall a great place to stay.

Everything was great. Hotel is clean. And it offers great amenities. Great location too. Right on the water and walking distance to resteraunts and shops. Breakfast has a large option for everyone. And the pool and hot tub were great. They even do smores in the evening. We have stayed here multiple times and will definitely be back. Our trip was cut short by the smoke from the fires and the staff was very understanding. We did not want to go but it was affecting out lungs.

This is the 2nd year in a row that we’ve stayed at Canal Park Lodge over Memorial Day weekend and we plan to do it again next year! Reasonably priced (especially on a holiday weekend), great location on the end of Canal Park by the beach (plus easy walking to everything) and my family enjoys the pool and hot tub.
