I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with our recent stay. Considering the amount of money we spent, the service, communication, and conditions we experienced were completely unacceptable. We chose this hotel expecting a comfortable, sanitary, and reasonably well-managed stay. Instead, we encountered repeated problems from the moment we arrived, and our concerns were handled in a dismissive manner that made an already frustrating situation even worse. I WOULD LIKE SOMEONE TO CONTACT ME DIRECTLY ABOUT OUR FULL EXPERIENCE AS THERE ISN'T ENOUGH SPACE FOR EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED AS THEY ALSO WALKED INTO OUR ROOM THIS MORNING, MONDAY WITHOUT EVEN KNOCKING IT WAS 3 HOURS BEFORE CHECK OUT. They refused to unclog the toilet, gave us a plunger and told us to fix it ourselves. It wouldn't flush due to the handle, it wasn't because of what was in it. Horrible experience, there isn't not enough space to tell you all of it.

The breakfast was awesome! The pool was freezing, and the hot tub was broken. The front desk staff were wonderful! They were experiencing technical difficulties because a storm took out the phone and internet, so they didn’t know if rooms were reserved, already rented, or available. They had to go back to pen and paper.

We had a reasonably nice stay at this hotel, which is on the western side of Dubuque and has an indoor pool and hot tub. The property was well kept and the room and public areas were clean. The beds were comfortable and there were ample electrical outlets. Plenty of counter space in the bathroom. There was no vent in bathroom and the refrigerator had problems: one front leg was missing, the freezer compartment was thick with frost, and the thermostat dial was missing. Since the desk clerk already knew about the refrigerator, we were somewhat irked that he put us in that room. He couldn't get hold of maintenance but found a wrench so that I could adjust the temperature. The pool temperature was perfect for swimming. Breakfast is not my thing, but they had eggs, potatoes, and meat as well as the usual fare. It was nice to have windows that opened.
