I had a wonderful stay here. The owner was incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming, and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. During my stay, the owner kindly offered me juice, fresh grapes, and even a delicious homemade tart, which I enjoyed in the evening and again the next morning. These thoughtful gestures made my stay very special and memorable. The room was comfortable, and the location was very convenient for exploring Dubrovnik. More than anything, I was impressed by the owner’s genuine hospitality and kindness. I am very grateful for such a wonderful stay, and I would definitely stay here again if I return to Dubrovnik. Highly recommended!

While the room was clean, the property was nice and everything was in order, the stand out for this place was the host, Maria. She amazing, gracious and generous. She is an absolute standout that will make you feel like you are visiting family.

Fabulous spot just a walk away from the old town through very quiet neighbourhood. The host Maria was excellent and made us very welcome- even allowing us to enjoy the fabulous views on the balcony. Room was very modern and very clean - comfortable bed, good shower and fridge in room. We loved our stay and already recommended it to our friends. Bakery and supermarket approx 10 minute walk.

Our lady host , even though spoke limited English, was super friendly and hospitable. The room is a little small but being able to use the beautiful terrace was a bonus ! The hillside was easy to navigate , 15-20 min to old town, bus system good but we chose to walk mostly.

The apartment was a little tricky to find initially and not easy for transport, but once found, the 20 min walk down into the old town was easy to navigate; although be prepared for many steps. The location was quiet and the host Maria was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was adequate size with comfortable facilities and great bathroom. We enjoyed our 2 night break very much.

Super nice

Super friendly host, she let us check-in early and was very helpfull with recomendations for our stay. She even offered us coffe and cookies :) The place was as in the pictures, clean and nice view from the balcony. It was a lot of steps to get to/from Old Town, you can walk back but it is better to take an Uber. I recomend it.

There is a great view from the balcony. The host is wonderful and caring. She spoiled us with some treats and kindly kept our luggage on the day of checkout. Everything about the room was excellent. The only important thing to mention is that going down to the Old Town is easy, but climbing back up might require more energy. Uber is relatively cheap (9–10 euros from the Old Town), or you can take bus number 3, though it runs a bit infrequently in the evening.

The quality of the renovation and cleanliness was great. It felt like a hotel room but in a private home. The only problems i had was with communication prior to my arrival. I had asked for an early luggage dropoff and never received any confirmation over the last few days prior. The actual entry door is also not clearly labeled so its confusing. An actual picture and map would of been needed to make it easier to find.

Very clean room and the owner/manager very friendly and accommodating. The location is great; about a 25 minute walk from the apartment to Old Town but there was also a bus stop 200m away and lots of Ubers to choose from. I highly recommend Rooms Batina.

2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The experience at this hotel was terrible. The location is disastrous; to reach it, you have to climb a staircase of over 50 steps while carrying your luggage. Furthermore, it is far from all points of interest, and if you are traveling by car, it is very difficult to get there, and there is no nearby parking. But the worst part is the hostess. She has a terrible temper, and on the day of check-out, she entered the room without knocking and practically forced me out. Truly unbelievable—nothing like this has ever happened to me before. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this place.
