We were in the center of Old Town so everything was so easy to get to. Great location! The host was so lovely and the room was above a restaurant but you couldn’t hear anything at night. Loved our stay here!

Super clean. Host was very sweet and helpful. A little bit small but perfect location and comes with a fridge and AC which was a huge bonus. There is a restaurant at the bottom with very good food and you get 20% off there.

The property is located on top of a lovely restaurant. If you need anything you have to ask the staff to call the property manager. The response time is very good and staff at the restaurant are fantastic!

This was a wonderful haven of peace in a very beautiful but very busy area. Everything was very clean and comfortable and it was great having the studio as it gave us space to eat there if we wanted. The restaurant at the bottom of the stairs was great too. Brilliant location, right in the heart of the old city.

Beautiful little apartment in one of the most convenient parts of the old town, 2 minutes walk inside the main gate. Nicely furnished, great aircon, and good communication with the lady who gave us the keys. It is directly above and opposite restaurants on a side street but surprisingly quiet anyway - the double glazing is very effective.

This property was in a fantastic location in the old town. The room was lovely, clean and had the essentials in the kitchen area. For us the roof terrace was a definite bonus giving amazing views over the city. Staff were friendly and helpful with suggestion for local attractions. Communication through expedia chat was very quick. would highly recommend.

The Roko has all the character of a small boutique hotel. The staff did a great welcoming us for a five-night stay. Erica pointed out the best places to see first, which set us up for great time. Cleanliness was up to standard. Would I recommend to our most discerning friends? Yes.

Take me back

A last minute trip change landed me in Dubrovnik and I couldn’t be happier. What a magical place, and my stay at Roko was a nice complement to my time there. The location couldn’t have been better to explore the Old City, access the port for trips out to Lukrom, etc. The caretaker was kind and efficient and, has been mentioned by others, the convenience of the discounted restaurant downstairs was a nice perk. I would stay again for sure.

Perfect location

The place is in an excellent location, in the heart of the old town. You just leave the building and walk past the shops and restaurants. The lady who served us was friendly and polite. There is a restaurant on the ground floor with very good food and friendly staff. To improve the situation, I suggest changing the bathroom rug, at least for stays of three days or more. The shower also had no door, which made the rug very wet. Overall, the place is exceptional.

Really small room for the price

The communication was just OK. We arrived late due to a delayed flight and had to rely on a friendly guy from a nearby restaurant to make a call for us. Fortunately we were on the first floor for carrying bags. The room for two people was very small and cramped, with no where to put suitcases. Three days in we found a refrigerator in a cupboard. On the plus side the AC is very good, and the location excellent for seeing Dubrovnik.

Beautiful room with stunning rooftop terrace view

The room was nice, clean and in a very good location. The host contacted us on the day to confirm what time we were arriving and ensured that her nephew was there to greet us and show us the room. There is a restaurant on the ground level and we were offered 20% off meals due to being guests. The food is phenomenal. I wish I had more hours in the day to eat more meals there. They also did up a cheese plate for us one evening to eat on the rooftop terrace. The location of the accommodation is very easy to find and right inside the city walls but out of the busy crowded main streets. There are no stairs to get there but the rooms are up a flight of stairs which is very normal for accommodation places in Croatia in towns. I would highly recommend booking this accommodation, mainly for the terrace. We got to see the most beautiful sunset while enjoying wine and cheese. A lot of other places we were considering booking had a balcony or a view out of the window of the wall, but where much more expensive or the location was not as great.

BEST: location in the old town Dubrovnik, every spot at a walking distancie. WORST: overpriced (as mostly everything in Dubrovnik). Apartments are located over a restaurant which is very noisy during the day. They closed at 10 pm and you can rest during the night. Entrance is through the tables of the restaurant's terrace
