First time in Dubrovnik, Hotel Vis made my stay SO EASY and comfortable!! The staff were so friendly and helpful, helping me get to and from the airport, and to and from downtown/Old City Dubrovnik. The hotel room and bathroom were the cleanest I've ever experienced, and the price was really reasonable. The hotel has direct access to the beach, easy walking to restaurants, and a bus stop across the street. Great for carless travel. Highly recommend Hotel Vis!!

Loved the terraced patio, beach, and staff were attentive. A little dated, but we're in an old city, do that is expected. Airport shuttle must be scheduled 24 or do hours in advance, so that was a misleading feature. Buffet at reduced rate was offered and was excellent. Included breakfast buffet held a good variety.

A stay in front of the beach

The hotel is in a prime location, with a beautiful beach in front. Bus transportation to the old town is quite easy, with a bus stop right outside the hotel. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. It was a good experience.

The hotel is tired and in need of updating, the reception staff are wonderful, helpful and friendly. The barman in the evening was rude, bad tempered and made everyone in our group feel that we were an inconvenience. Breakfast was very good a massive selection and all very fresh. Loved the area but wouldn’t return to this hotel.

Great place to stay..

This is a great hotel, situated beautifully by the water and simple in it's decor and offer to guests. Stayed here with a friend and we both loved it, excellent breakfast and lovely to sit and look at the water whilst eating away. 100% recommend for value stays in Dubrovnik.

After reading te bad reviews we decided te book this hotel. Everything was great at this hotel. Except there is no help with the suitcases at the high stairs in front of the hotel and inside. But we should book again.

Worn hotel

We got a room with a huge balcony with an excellent view. The hotel is worn and there is mold here and there. There is also a funky smell in the hotel. Breakfast is ok. No sunbeds were provided (mid October).

The hotel is well located, only a 10 mins bus ride to the old town. They are on the beach and the staff were very helpful and friendly. However, the hotel needs a major renovation. It looks a little run down, the walls are so thin that you can hear people coughing in the next room. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
