Fantastic views and great staff. Everyone at front desk/concierge is incredibly helpful. Hotel location on water and with a walking path to other restaurants is great. A short taxi ride to Old Town.

Fabulous!

We had a fabulous time in Dubrovnik, particularly around Old Town and Cavtat. The accommodation at the Royal Resort is fantastic. Initially our requested ‘sea view’ was obscured by trees but we were moved the following day and were very happy with the new room. It’s definitely worth paying extra for. Breakfast is great with a huge amount of choice to suit everyone. There’s plenty of swimming pool and sunbathing options but getting into the sea in some parts is quite treacherous. The resort location is perfect for a stroll into town or for catching a bus to the Old Town.

This is a lovely hotel right on the beautiful Croatian coastline. The staff are all very helpful and friendly (special thanks to Dora on Reception who helped us sort out an injured pigeon on the roof - long story!). Breakfast is lovely. Rooms excellent. There is more than one pool and we liked the pool by the bar and the padded sunbeds are very comfy with no rushing to put towels down. We took ubers to Dubrovnik old town and paid about 9 euros each way. The number 6 bus goes there but looked very full coming home. If you walk down the path opposite the hotel, within 5 minutes you reach a few nice shops - souvenir, mini markets, icecreams and 2 or 3 nice cafes/restaurants we went to. We walked the old town wall which was great and we went when it first opened at 8 am as it got so hot later on. Highly recommend this excellent hotel.

Thanks for a very pleasant stay of 6 nights - we used a number of your bars and restaurants, the food was good and the service was good to outstanding - reception and ‘on the rocks’ were particularly great. If we had a issue it is something that is difficult to resolve we were in 4308 and facing another block of accommodation- with the exception of the early morning - the mother or son was on their balcony looking into our room or appeared to be for the majority of the day. Their room had net curtains and blackout curtains and we could not past there window - ours had a blind that had to lowered - no curtains - so consequently when we returned to our room in the afternoon we had to have the air con on, lights on, blinds down - because of the blinds. Apart from our first night, we could not use the balcony as the blackout was down to stop the other room observing us. For a hotel of your standing I think this is poor and unnecessary with some foresight.
