Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Croatia. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our visit. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, with beautiful views that made the experience even more relaxing. The breakfast buffet was also excellent, with plenty of delicious options each morning, and friendly staff. Definitely a great place to stay and would happily return!

Excellent hotel, good size rooms, comfortable king size bed, wonderful view of the Adriatic from our room and balcony. Lovely town of Cavtat is walking distance with many seaside restaurants. Dubrovnik is reachable by water taxi or regular taxi, about 15 miles.

Great views from every room, private decks, pool areas were beautiful. They offered a golf cart shuttle instead of takibg the steps down to the promenade and beach areas which was nice coming back after dinner at night. Greeted with a bottle of Croatian wine, small eats and fresh flowers. Huge breakfast selection to enjoy!

This is a wonderful hotel and we’re surprised how much we liked it. It had a unique history (built 50 years ago under the communist government. It is the brutalist architectural style. The views from our room were phenomenal as was the restaurants and amenities. The room was not as organized as it could have been with little stored for suitcases. Highly recommend

Golf buggy to town & lifts available …took a bit of getting used to how to access & find as a VERY big hotel. Also is on flight path as near airport & some building noise by the waterfront from a new build going on. Didn’t bother us but worth mentioning. Steps do mean that the views are incredible & the waterfront restaurant & sundeck are amazing!

This is a beautiful property with amazing balcony views of the ocean! We loved being able to walk down to the main area of Cavtat with all the restaurants and shops. You cannot beat the sunsets in this area! The views are stunning! This hotel has a parking lot onsite and the staff were so gracious to help us park and retrieve our car. There is a huge buffet spread every morning for breakfast. It is close to the airport and a short drive from Dubrovnik. We enjoyed being out of the chaos of Dubrovnik and coming back to this peaceful gem each night. Sitting at the restaurant or eating ice cream by the water and watching the sunset was one of the best parts of our trip!

Beware if you book a Superior Plus Sea View room. Request a room on the 5th floor or higher. Avoid the 3rd floor. Many of these rooms overlook a long roof or there are trees in front of your view. False advertising. These should be called Partial Sea View rooms. Also be aware that the reception is on the 4th floor. The breakfast is good and also the half board dinner buffet is good.

I upgraded my room to one with a balcony and sea view, and I’m so glad I did. The view was stunning! The hotel is lovely and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is a golf buggy that takes guests down to the harbour and picks you up to transport you back again - very welcome if you have done a lot of walking.

View from the balcony was stunning, as we stayed slightly out of season not all facilities open. Room was clean, bed comfortable but better pillows would be a big improvement. Food okay but choice was limited... Chose to eat out of the hotel a couple of days for evening meal. Would definitely come back during the on season
