Hotel Adriatic is currently under renovations. We found out when trying to check in late at night, there was a note stating our reservation had been moved to another hotel across street. There was no previous warning of this, but we went to the other hotel mentioned (hotel Vis). There we found that our reservation was actually not there either, but in a third hotel down the street (hotel Komodor). Receptionist was apologetic and polite, but we were quite tired already from hauling luggage back and forth and disappointed from not have been told anything beforehand. Reception at the third hotel Komodor was great and things went smoothly. Room was basic but neat, clean and everything worked fine. There's still a lot room to improve considering communication between hotel and client wich lowered comfort of our stay. Room we have was obviously not like room we booked and I find strange that hotel Adriatic still allows bookings knowing the place is currently shut down. Misleading marketing.

Should be a hostel

We were supposed to stay at Adriatic hotel, which was closed and we got transfer to Komodor, right next door. Breakfast: it was included. Topical food with a great variety, with a good coffee machine!!! Front desk: helpful Cleaning: the old carpet was not cleaned, full of hair And debris, nasty! We had shampoo and soup for the first day only!!! The shower sink was clogged, I asked the front desk, cleaning personnel and nothing. We took shower with flip flops! Clean towels daily.

Urolig godt hotel. Vi fik et lækkert familieværelse med udsigt over havet og poolen. De burde ændre på morgenmaden. Så det ikke er det samme hver dag.

Boendet är okay för 2stjärnig hotell. Vi hade otur med att få ett rum med mögel lukt. Ljudisoleringen är dålig, vi hade rummet från gatan så vi hade inga bekymmer med trafikbullret. Slutet på säsongen märktes i restaurangen. Personalen vänlig och hjälpsam.

The property is well situated, the back rooms are quite but the front rooms a little noisy but fortunately it is quite during the night. The other thing is there is no Lift to the upper levels . One thing they could do is maybe have an electrical flask for boiling water. The Staff are super helpful.

호텔 시설은 낡은 편이다. 엘리베이트가 없어 무거운 짐을 3층까지 들고 오라 갔습니다. 전망이 좋을 거라고 생각하고 예약 했는느데...산만 보이는 구석지 방을 배정해 놓아 불쾌햇습니다.. 식당은 호텔과 떨어진 검물이고, 조식은 괜찮았고 전망도 좋았습니다.

2 star hotel, so 4 star standards shouldn't be expected. There is no lift. Friendly staff, adequate breakfast with a stunning view over the adriatic. Bedroom ok. WIFI excellent. Bus stop for the No4 bus that takes you right to the old town, is right outside the door. Journey takes 15 minutes. No complaints

One of the BEST hotels I have ever stayed at in my life! The staff are so sweet and helpful. I told them ahead of time I’d be celebrating my birthday during this trip, they had a basket of fruit & a note reading “Happy Birthday” waiting for me in my room. I wish I could give this hotel 10 stars. They make you feel right at home & are super happily helpful in assisting with directions and tours. ALSO THEY OFFER AN AMAZING DINNER RECEPTION AT DISCOUNTED PRICE AND A WONDERFUL BREAKFAST BUFFET in the mornings as well. You guys are so amazing, when I return for a vacation in Croatia I know exactly where to go. Also there’s a bus stop steps away from the hotel that takes you directly to Old City and not to mention the breathtaking view from the hotel is simply exquisite! Thank you all at Hotel Adriatic.

Very welcoming staff, and rooms kept very clean. The bus stop into town is right outside the hotel, so it's very handy for trips out. I only ate breakfast in the restaurant, but there was a good selection of hot & cold food in the buffet. The only negative was that some of the towels & sheets are a bit worn & tatty, but they were all clean so it wasn't really a big deal. Great budget hotel

Great Location, Great Value

Hotel Adriatic was a perfect for us. The location is a quick bus ride from the Old Town. The bus is right outside the hotel. The hotel is across the street from a beautiful beach and down the block from Sunset Beach and a promenade filled with great restaurants. The staff was very nice and helpful. Parking was available from the hotel for 10 Euros-a bargain! Breakfast was included which was great too. Many food options. The room was simple, a bit antiquated but very clean. It served it's purpose for us. We came to visit Dubrovnik, not stay in a hotel room. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Better than most

This hotel is across from the beach, close to cafes and restaurants. The bus to town is right outside the door. It's VERY clean and the staff are exceptional. Only down side it doesn't have a lift, it could do with an upgrade and toiletries are basic. Would recommend this place to all. Don't know why it's only 2 star. We stayed in several 3 and 4 star hotels in Croatia and this was the best.

Cheap comfort for maximum value

Comfortable, clean and friendly staff. Great location close to beach and public transport. Some food outlets which were reasonably priced and tasty. Cheap for Dubrovnik with free breakfast and WiFi.
