Our experience at the guesthouse was exceptional. The place was recently renovated and is tastefully decorated. The staff were extremely gracious and friendly and the breakfast was superb. It was among our best experiences in Croatia.

Great stay at a very clean boutique hotel. The staff is excellent and Stan went out of his way to get us a to go breakfast before 7 am for our Daytrip. Great location in Old Town.

The room was lovely, with a nice private terrace. Guesthouse Fortyfour is in the middle of the walled city, so it was a busy area with loud music from a nearby bar at night. The windows are well sound-proofed, which helps! Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. Thank you to the Guesthouse team!

Thank you to Stan and staff for looking after us. Room was lovely all the staff were excellent. Comfortable bed, beautifully tided and cleaned every morning. Oliver looked after us for breakfast every morning, being helpful and polite. The restaurant food was excellent, ate here 2 nights as a treat. Perfect location in the walled town, could walk around easily, could be a little noisy at night, but that was from being close to the beer tavern, outside area…this went peaceful after midnight. We had a lovely time in this very perfect property…thank you.

Nice hotel on top of a restaurant conveniently located off the busy Main Street. Stan, Marin, Luka and the service staffs including the cleaning mademoiselles were all very gracious and helpful. Felt like we were staying at friends’ house. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Best place to stay in Old Town!

We had an amazing time! Beautiful accommodations, great service and food, in a quiet location just off the main drag in Old Town Dubrovnik. And Damir is a phenomenal host, always focused on his guests’ experience and comfort. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Just beautiful - the rooms and the building are just beautiful and beautifully done. Historic but modern amenities and decor. The staff are wonderful, friendly and so so helpful with excursions and advice about the area. Would highly recommend this property! Be sure to eat at their restaurant, food and staff wonderful!

Our stay at Guesthouse Forty Four was amazing from start to finish. The location is right in the centre of the old town so was very convenient and the premises were very clean and comfortable. However, most of all the customer service is outstanding with all staff members going the extra mile to welcome us and make our stay as comfortable as possible. Special shoutout to Stan who was so lovely and really made us feel right at home. This was the best service I have experienced anywhere. Additionally I would recommend eating at their restaurant which has some of the tastiest food in the old town - 10/10 would recommend the pistachio cheesecake and black ravioli. We both died and went to heaven!

We were meet by the Manager Damir at the city gates as no cars are allowed into Dubrovnik old town. He was so welcoming and maid us feel relaxed straight from the initial meeting. He took time to introduce us to his staff and invited us to a family party. The guest house is immaculate and so well maintained, it is in the old part of town well located close to the city walls and the harbour. 10 out of 10 for everything so far.

the rooms was great, really clean and modern, the location was excellent in walking distance of everything in Durbrovnik which is a beautiful place. The only slight down side is that the reception service is a little disorganised as the rooms are serviced by the restaurant staff who don't always seem to know how the guesthouse side of the business should run. regardless though we would still stay there again

Excellent service, beautiful hotel

The team Mario, Danny, Martin and David were excellent. They were very accomodating and made me as a solo female traveller feel safe. And you're in the heart of old town. My room had a beautiful terrace as well, great for drinking tea and listening to a podcast in the sunny weather. Breakfast is provided and they cater to your preffered coffee. Highly rcommended.

This hotels is in a great location next to many restaurants and bars. Just off the Main Street but walkable to anything in old town. Staff was very attentive and the housekeeping was among the best we have seen. Includes breakfast is just the right amount of food. We hope to return soon.

This hotel is beautiful and in the center of Old Town Dubrovnik. Rooms are spotless, spacious, and very modern. We loved the breakfasts in the morning, and received 5-star service from everyone who works there. The manager not only arranged transportation but also walked us and our luggage to the main gate to ensure our driver was there. My only suggestion would be to bring earplugs as the bars near the hotel can get loud on weekend nights but it was fine once I put my earplugs in. Other than that, it was a perfect choice and plan to go back.
