the staff were really friendly but the room was tired with stains on the bed frame and carpet, our room was over looked by the carpark and was really warm. the mattress was so uncomfortable.

Very dated room. Bathroom was stained. Mould on the wall behind the curtains. Windows didn’t close properly. Looks like the property is being renovated, but even the newer areas had water damage on the walls. The staff were pleasant and friendly. Didn’t check out the bar or restaurant but there is a lovely Thai takeaway next door.

Overpriced for what the quality was. Was convenient area for the airport. Rooms were run down and bathroom was not super clean. Had a restaurant but priced for high for what was offered. Plus side was it’s open until the evening which most in the area are not.

I came to the White Sands Hotel because I could not find availability in the hotel I normally stay at. After staying there however, I will make this my “regular” when we’re going to the Portmarnock/Malahide area. Great Staff, great hotel and a great view of the iris!
