The hotel is at a really good location. Dining at Wilde restaurant is an excellent choice. However, the amenities are a little bit run down and management are poor. We booked 2 rooms for our family for 3 night stay. Upon receiving the rooms, one room was full of smoke smell, the other room was so tiny its door opening can barely fit one person passing through especially with a carry on. The sink in the bathroom was clogged . Imagine using a clogged sink in a five star hotel! We notified the manager right after we received the room that our bathroom was leaking. They promised to fix the room and have it ready for us the next day. On the next day after a long day tour at the end of the day we thought our room would be ready but to our surprise our room was not cleaned at all and the bathroom was full with dirty towels from the maintenance. It was right on my birthday and we wasted a lot of time going back and forth with the hotel staff and manager. We had stayed at so many luxury resorts and hotels before and we feel that The Westbury is nowhere near five star resort service. We definitely will not come back and would not recommend friends or family to stay there at all.

Great location and very accommodating staff. Rooms are spacious (for European standards) and the hotel lobby/lounge is a wonderful traditional setting. Had one small hiccup with the gym being closed for renovation, but the Westbury team was more than responsive in trying to make it right.
