Had a great stay at the Hotel. The staff is amazing and very helpful.
I loved the pub and we had a great meal and drinks.
The room was pleasantly roomy and very clean.
Loved the rustic vibe with modern upgrades.
A great night in a quaint community.
We enjoyed our stay here. We just needed a place to sleep between flights and it was really easy to a late night check in. The convenience of the restaurant was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. Super close to the airport. It's located on the main street in swords so there's lots of other options for food & coffee alone the main street as well!

Good location if wanting to stay outside of Dublin close to bus stops and quick way to get to airport. Charming hotel overall, but could use some touch ups inside the hotel. Bar was lively and most, but not all, staff were friendly. We spent most of our time in Malahide which was a cuter town not far away.
This hotel was the perfect first stop for us! It was close to the airport, so we got a little practice using the rental car. The hotel itself is centrally located, clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced! But what really makes this location fantastic is the staff! From check-in with Neil, to conversations with Gerry and Gera( short for Geraldine), the staff were helpful, professional and very friendly! I doubt any of them have ever met a stranger!
Our room was comfortable and modern. The water pressure in the bathroom was very strong( important point for visiting Yanks!).
I recommend that you give the Old Borough an opportunity to make your visit to Ireland memorable!
Lovely place to stay instead of Dublin before our flight back home. Nice town. Wonderful castle, nice room and can’t beat the food prices at the restaurant.

This hotel is advertised as far more luxury than it is, maybe a 2-3 star hotel in all honesty. However, it was acceptable for a less than 24 hour stay to catch a flight. My room was in need of a deep clean and/or fresh coat of paint. There was also black mold around the windows and I found a condom wrapper under the bed when trying to connect the misaligned box springs. The shower was fantastic though and the pub food was a good portion for the price. I was impressed with the amount of vegetarian/vegan options available. The pub was a bit noisy but not so much that it bothered my rest. Great location for walking and buses.
Nice location near shopping mall and a few good pubs in addition to their own bar and restaurant all within walking distance. Rooms are well designed and comfortable, though the air conditioning unit in our room periodically made grinding sounds — seemed only when adjusting to new set temperature— and did not happen while sleeping at night. Surprisingly quiet in room considering above a busy pub. Parking is not guaranteed and is very limited on premises, and not a-lot on street either— we parked in a pay lot a half plovk away until a space opened in front of the property.
The parking was very tight but free for guests. I was a bit worried when I saw the bar downstairs but the rooms were lovely and quiet. The location was handy to the airport and an easy walk to the castle and shops. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was clean and hot. We bought breakfast which was a very good deal. I would stay here again.
Clean, comfortable and stylish rooms with a decent sized bathroom and a lift to get to the upper floor. Bathroom also had a tub/shower combo
You'll be extremely lucky if you can park at the facility. If not, you have to park about a block away.
Ordering food/drinks in the bar/restaurant has to be done from a QR code on the table. Menu is limited and you're virtually invisible to the staff while sitting at your table
The room was incredible, the staff were wonderful and extremely helpful when we had an issue with our shower. Our last night we tried the food and bar both were great! We hope to stay again when we plan our next trip to Ireland!

Everything was wonderful..clean, comfortable room..friendly staff. Great location and proximity to airport.
There is no actual "front desk" to check in at. The bar/restaurant handles that. The staff was very helpful during check un and during our one night stay. 10-15 minutes away from airport. Restaurant food was mediocre in quality. Prices for beer/wine and mixed drinks were very inexpensive, the lowest I have seen anywhere. Room was no frills but comfortable. If you need a place for a night or two arriving/leaving Dublin airport this will do it. Parking is limited.
Clean room, friendly staff, easy to get a meal at night and at breakfast

If you stay here make sure not to have a room over the bar. Our room was quiet but others in our group said it was very loud. Staff was great, food was so so. Overall I would rate it a 7.
