Excellent hotel, very modern and stylish, staff were great and breakfast is wonderful. Great bar area and a pub/bar attached to the hotel with a brilliant atmosphere. Perfect location to explore Dublin while still being in a relaxed and quiet area. The Point tram stop is a few minutes walk away and will take you straight into the city centre for a few euro. The hotel is a few hundred yards from the 3Area which is where you can get the Dublin Express coach to and from the Airport. Also coaches will pick up here for gigs at St Anne’s park. Less than a mile to the Aviva as well. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Dublin.

Lovely hotel. We were able to check in early which was a bonus. If you have a room with a balcony it does mean you get the noise of the bar/restaurant but they were done by midnight. Very good room sizes for the super room. Staff brilliant. Would stay again.

OK - I’m not sure what’s going on here - from the marketing materials and online presence I expected a lot more. We opted for a warehouse suite for the extra room, but were saddled into a dank and airless space with low ceilings and furniture at the end of it’s life expectancy. Strange stains on the upholstery and ceiling. You’d think this place opened 20 years ago from the condition of things. Avoid suite 401 at all costs. And it’s expensive to boot. Nope!

Sanitary bins need to be provided in rooms and a waste bin in the bedroom not just the bathroom. Along with complimentary water and water for the kettle as it doesn’t fit in the bathroom sink. Also, heating in rooms or easier way to turn the aircon off.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Rooms are snug but very cosy and they have good amenities. There’s a lovely big rainfall shower and nice sized bathroom. Really love the decor. We had dinner in Elephant and Castle and a drink in The Bottleboy, both very nice. We also availed of the Soa/Pool .. again it’s a very small area but it wasn’t busy so it was nice. (Might be a different story if it’s busy) Overall, a very nice, cosy, cool, friendly hotel and we would definitely stay here again☺️

Superbly furnished Hotel, very smart and with some lovely touches. Just off the hustle and bustle of the city centre in a recently redeveloped part of the city, 5 mins walk to the nearest Lias stop and probably about 20mins walk to the centre. Meal was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be staying here again.

Second time in The Mayson Hotel, great atmosphere from reception staff, went to the room and it wasn’t as good as it should be for a 4 star hotel! The positives though, the food on the evening in Rayleigh’s Restaurant was superb, but the breakfast was just basic! Feeling rather deflated and disappointed with the overall experience on my second visit! 😔
