A room with a view overlooking Donabate beach. Beautiful suite with a lovely egg bath and huge shower. Bed and pillows were so comfortable too. Lovely breakfast and enjoyed an evening meal too with great service. Perfect spot to travel to Dublin Airport too just 9km away.

This is an old hotel, on a nice walkable beach and the restaurant has good food. It is located a 15 minute drive to the Dublin airport, but there are other nicer hotels with about the same driving time to the airport. This was the second most expensive hotel we stayed in over our 8 days in Ireland, as we picked high-end hotels with parking and breakfast included. We only got free parking here, as the breakfast was not included, a surprise to us. There is no reason for it being so expensive, as our room and the wing where the rooms are located is old and needs repair. The toilet would not flush, the water in our shower was either cool or scalding, the bathroom door dragged on the floor, and our room overlooked a nearly full open dumpster. The window latch was broken, so the window was either fully open or closed. We were not able to get into our room when we got there 30 minutes early, and the receptionist was not friendly. The front desk often did not have anyone there, with people waiting. Would not stay here again. This was the 5th time overnighting at this hotel, the last was 6 years ago, sadly they have really let this hotel deteriorate.
