Nice quiet area with useful onsite free car parking.Easy walk into Sandymount village with some nice restaurants.It is also possible to walk to the beach or drive further down the coast to Blackrock,Sandycove and Dalkey The hotel is clean and well maintained and the staff friendly .

My three-night stay at the Sandymount Hotel was nothing short of brilliant! The staff are so attentive and genuinely go out of their way to take care of you. We were impress with clean rooms and helpful staff. The only suggestion i could make is the air con in the rooms as we were very lucky with the weather. The hotel had so many cosy sitting areas which is great for relaxing and we found the bar was very reasnable priced. The location is also good as only 2 stops to town by train.

Loved the hotel altho a bit hard to find your way about at start. All good except we had to ask for loo roll (none in room half way through stay) and Coffee pods weren’t replaced but when asked were promptly put in room. Also didn’t get biscuits in room every day. Apart from that was great. Nice breakfast and no hassle getting a table considering it’s a big hotel. Parking fine and very handy for the train so left car there for a week. Didn’t eat dinner in hotel so can’t comment on that. Would visit there again no problem at all

Cannot recommend this Hotel enough. It’s in a superb location for the Aviva Stadium and easy access to central Dublin. Hotel and especially the bedroom was spotlessly clean. Very roomy double bedroom with a very comfortable bed Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was one of the best we have had in any hotel and the bar had a great selection of drinks. We will stay there again and cannot not recommend to stay enough
