Wonderful historic property, well maintained and being updated as we were there. While not being air conditioned was understood, was surprised at how hot the room got - small sea facing window didn’t really allow the room to cool off even though days were only 24 C and nights were down to 15-18 C. Lovely location - both the hotel location and the Sutton/Howth area.

The room was enormous with a comfortable bed and view of the bay. The front desk staff was wonderful. The bathroom could use a little updating but was spacious. Breakfast was decent, nothing spectacular, a bit expensive for what you got and they were understaffed. Overall a great place to stay for location and price.

The pool, sauna, and steam room are nice. The property is in a nice location in relation to downtown Dublin and Howth, both of which are reachable by a nearby train station. It can be tricky driving into the parking lot of the hotel as the intersection is a bit odd but overall an excellent stay.
