I love this place on the Irish Sea! What a beautiful hotel. I loved walking down to the beach and spending time on the spacious patio. My room was perfect. Goes to Howth or into Dublin center was so easy by bus or train. I spent the week here with my four grown kids and my granddaughter, and was joined several times by family especially at our dinner of 20 held at the hotel. Thanks for a memorable time!

Hotel undergoing refurbishment so bedrooms of varying quality. we stayed in one of the original rooms on the top floor and the bathroom needed a very good clean . The breakfast was okay and hot plates would have helped lovely views at the rear and hotel well placed for the dart and the bus to the city

Wonderful historic property, well maintained and being updated as we were there. While not being air conditioned was understood, was surprised at how hot the room got - small sea facing window didn’t really allow the room to cool off even though days were only 24 C and nights were down to 15-18 C. Lovely location - both the hotel location and the Sutton/Howth area.

The room was enormous with a comfortable bed and view of the bay. The front desk staff was wonderful. The bathroom could use a little updating but was spacious. Breakfast was decent, nothing spectacular, a bit expensive for what you got and they were understaffed. Overall a great place to stay for location and price.

From check-in it was so friendly and helpful and nothing was a problem even though we were early . We ate in the restaurant and the staff again were so fun and welcoming and we even met the chef who knew lots of patrons and the food was so professional and tasty . The view from the restaurant and outdoor area is amazing and makes it worth while just to see and the weather was great and all of Dublin was clear . The charm of the place and the friendly staff make up for a building that’s been loved and used for many years 🙏
