Wonderful Location, Great Value, Friendly Staff

This hotel is right across the street from Trinity College, & a few blocks away from Grafton street shops. The Temple Bar area is a short walk. Bus 757 from Dublin airport has drop off & pick up locations within 2 to 3 blocks of the hotel. (Purchase the round trip ticket to save a few Euros.) J.P. Mooney’s pub serves very good food, & has a fun inviting atmosphere. Our room was very comfortable, & the staff were all exceptionally helpful & friendly. The hotel is an older building, but we had no issues, & it was very clean. We highly recommend this hotel.

The property was close to everything downtown. We could walk to everything we wanted to see. Trinity college is right across the street which is an absolute must see. It had a really fun pub attached to the hotel. The staff was so nice. It's an old hotel built, I think, in the 1800's so it lacked certain amenities like an elevator. We didn't like having to carry our bags up three flights of stairs. No parking of course because this is a major city. So we parked in the off site parking around the corner and it's not cheap. Our last night there, no hot water. Note downstairs said it would be back on at 9am but we were leaving for the airport at 4am.

Lovely stay at Kildare Street.

Warm, clean, comfortable bedroom with nice view of Trinity College grounds. Very central and convenient. Friendly staff especially Elizabeth.

The 2 windows were not sealed or closable, so not only was there a 1.5” gap allowing bus noise in, but they rattled and let the 30 degree Farenheit temps in all night. There was carpeting cut up in room and bath was down the hall shared and the toilet seat broken. they told my wife to just go to another floor to find another one. The place should be gutted and remodeled and should not be recommended on Expedia.

Man konnte das Fenster eigenstaendig nicht oeffnen und so war es immer muffig im Zimmer, auch weil der Abzug/ ventilator an der decke im badezimmer nicht ausreichend war um ein angenehmes Raumklima zu schaffen. Der Service konnte uns zumindest ein Mal das Fenster oeffnen, wobei es auch nicht viel brachte ohne Zugluft :( Der Haartrockner war auch nicht zufrieden stellend...nur kalte Luft kam raus :/ Hoehere Preise am Wochenende zu verlangen, finde ich auch etwas seltsam. Die lokation war aber ziemlich gut und die Angestellten sind super freundlich.

La cosa positiva è che l'hotel è pulito ed ha una posizione buona vicino al centro; in camera il riscaldamento non funziona, in bagno si congela. Non c'è l'ascensore e devi farti tre piani a piedi se hai la camera a l'ultimo piano.

Good Value Hotel

Lovely Hotel overall! Great Location, 24hr reception and exceptional service. Rooms were clean and comfortable with all the necessities needed. Small touches were appreciated such as the later checkout than most at 12 and the replenishment of biscuits everyday.

Muy buen hotel cerca del centro para quedarse por unos días, las camas son un poco incómodas pero por el precio y la ubicación están bien. El pub de abajo cierra tarde los sábados por lo que se escucha un poco el ruido pero la verdad a mi no me molestó. Gran hotel con grandes personas en la recepción.

My stay here was good. It is fairly quiet at night, not much noise. My toilet had difficulty flushing, you have to push and hold for it to flush and then it made a long loud "running water" noise a while after flush. I think when they cleaned my hotel room before I checked in, they forgot to restock clean towels. I didn't have any full sized bath towels at first. Also couldn't find a wall outlet to plug in the hair dryer in the bathroom... so I used the outlet in the bedroom area. Room does not come with refridgerater or microwave. I'm not used to that, so I couldn't bring "home" left over foods from restaurants. Also no elevator, it was a struggle carrying my heavy heavy suitcase up 3 flights of stairs. Besides all of this, was a fine hotel for the cost.

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! They have A BEDBUG INFESTATION at ALL their hotels, so don't let them change your stay to one of their other hotels, like they tried to do with us. We had no idea we had to share a bathroom, either. They are disgusting and should be shut down! Where is the health department???
