The room was clean and charming. Staff not present but check in was easy. The only parking available is whatever can be found on the street. The bed was excellent-had a great sleep.
This is a really cool place to stay. In a quieter part of Dublin, but good if you like walking. Lots of pubs and restaurants within a 10 minute walk and about 35 min walk to city center.
Really enjoyed our stay here - neighbourhood is quiet and lovely. We were within about 30 mins walking distance to the lively neighbourhood in Rathmines. It was a bit more of a trek to the tourist centre and airport but we walked one day and took ubers/bus other times. The guesthouse was clean and had everything we needed. We had a room with a private bathroom and it was perfect.
The staff on the property were wonderful....very accomodating to personal needs particlarly as they related to my wife's health issues. We cannot thank them enough.
The staff were wonderful! Parking was a bit tricky, but overall an ideal place to stay that was an easy drive from city center. A lovely room- I would have loved to stay longer.
I LOVED it here!! Was truly perfect for my 5 day stay. It was cozy, comfortable, and I have zero complaints. Martina was also the sweetest!! I’d absolutely stay here again.
Had a hard time getting in after dark, as there wasn’t an outside light on. Couldn’t read the entry code instructions. No one answered the doorbell. It was scary . My room was on the top floor, which was difficult, with my suitcase ; there was not a lift. My room was very hot; had to open the windows for it to cool down. As I was right outside the school playground next door, the noise woke me up early. Staff was very helpful & kind.
Room was small but clean and tidy, good value for money. After some confusion about actually getting in and accessing my room (probably my own fault), things were sorted out by friendly and efficient staff and my stay then went smoothly.
Very convenient Tesco Express nearby, serviceable and restaurant around the corner, though better meal options easily accessible nearby. It was a great location for accessing Dublin City center and UCD, both easy bus rides or about 20-30 minutes enjoyable walk away.
A very useful base for a concert at the Aviva stadium in a quiet residential area. A straightforward 25 minute walk in a safe area. It is a trek from the city centre but the bus was easy to get and very handy as stops at the top of the road. It’s also on the direct bus route to Dun Laoghaire - a lovely little seaside town where I spent the following day. There’s also some restaurants/bars and a Tesco on the main road where bus drops off by the accommodation.
The accommodation provided easy come and go access with a door code. My room was through the conservatory and backed onto the “garden” which was nice. The room felt very cosy and the bed was one of the best I’ve slept on!
The shower could have done with modernising but everywhere was clean, which is the main thing.
Lovely friendly welcome and I liked the secure access to the property. Very clean and quiet, had a great sleep. Perfect for the wedding I was attending down the street.
